Black Panther vs. Black Lightning

The Big Two's original Black superheroes are going at each other!

Round 1: comic-book versions (current MU vs current DCU)

Round 2: live-action versions (MCU vs CWTV)

Standard Rumble Settings and Standard gear allowed in both rounds.

Who wins?

Current DCU would mean Cold Dead Heads Jefferson, who seems pretty weak. Leaning on BP and his suit's shenanigans (namely the weird kinetic energy pulse thing) for the win here.

Round 2 is dicey because I fell behind on Black Lightning. Unless he got way more powerful, I don't see him damaging T'Challa behind the suit. BP for the win here too.

Seems to keep pace with the show. They might as well have released a CW tie-in instead.

Although Jefferson is very young in this version.

Black Lightning is kind of in a weird place where for a while when the character was first about he was basically a dude who shot electricity at people with a little bit extra, who all the same over time developed far greater mastery of his abilities as a thing, particularly from understanding that they were powers innate to him and dependant in some ways on his mindset.

So that's kind of a difficult thing to proclaim "this is 'classic' Black Lightning" or what have you.

Does T'Challa have any standard long range weapon (projectile), or energy projection, that'd be faster than projected lightning?

Speed, stops bullet..

Speed stopping the bullet is nice. I think he could use his feedback for the lightning. Not sure if it would hurt BL. I think it would. The speed BL has would be a problem. I don’t think he could match it. TChalla is the better fighter, and his suit could take a lot, but BL has too much offense.

Panthers daggers (I don’t like the daggers much) are not as fast as what I see from BL. As far as I know.

Round one as a scenario starts when T'Challa asks Jefferson to put on a wig of long white hair.

MCU vs CW - Black Panther wins. Jefferson has nothing to hurt him, and all T'Challa needs to do get within hands reach and it's over.

As much as I like Jefferson' I don't think he has the Oomph to get through T'Challa's suit.

His daughter on the other hand would fry him.
