For me Jerome is the least interesting character. I much prefer Bullock, Selina, Penguin, Riddler, Barbara, and Alfred. If Jerome went away and never came back I would be fine with that. If Bullock went away I would be majorly pissed.

Everyone always forgets Bullock and Zsasz... Zsasz is the reason I watched 4a. Jerome is the reason I stayed for 4b

I enjoy the Joker that's why I liked Jerome and everything they are building around him seems to be worth looking into.
"Excellent!" I cried. "Elementary," said he

A Harvey Bullock appreciation thread? I'll just leave this idea here. Christopher Walken playing Harvey Bullock.

Sounds terrible. I'd want someone beefier with a more gruff New Yawk accent. Donal Longue is prefect because he has the body type and the voice. Walken is too skinny and effete sounding.

Walken is also 75! Out to pasture please.

I would kill for a Montaya and Bullock book

Bendis and FF, with flashbacks to when Harvey was a young cop, in the 70s. I know time wise it doesn’t work, but whatevs. I want to see FF draw 70s.

What a fantastic idea. Two of my all time favorite supporting characters co-starring in an ongoing series (or even a mini) of their own, sign me up.

So something surprising to me was that Harvey Bullock used to write episodes of The Andy Griffith Show and Gomer Pyle: USMC. Other Harvey Bullock writing credits include
Hogan's Heroes, I Spy, Top Cat, The Flintstones, The Jetsons, and Alice.. He was also in a special operations unit in the Navy during WW2. What a guy, a war hero, a writer and a police detective.
(The DC comic book character was named in tribute to Harvey Bullock)

From Harvey's first appearance in the comic books:

I really love Harvey. I've long wanted a story where James Gordon retires and Harvey Bullock becomes Gotham's Police Commissioner.

Don't think Harvey exactly has the temperament for that . . .
