I like the focus on Mera and I hope this movie does right by her. Her time as the monarch of Atlantis will be interesting and I think might serve as a defining moment for the character.

These previews look great. Mera's time as Queen of Atlantis should be interesting. I wonder how long it will last.

I love that cover.

I remember when I saw it I noted how it didn't look underwater-y at all. I love Atlantis as a place and imagining how people move and interact there, so I get bummed when that's not portrayed well. Now that we know Atlantis has risen up out of the sea and that, that image is Mera sitting on a throne on dry land...I love it.

It was really well done.

I would say that all of the NEW 52 stuff (minus the short run by Bunn) and the Rebirth series in its entirety plus Mera's recent mini, issue 24 of the Rebirth Justice League book, and the Legacy storyline that follows.

So many great Mera moments in that giant mega arc.

Geoff Johns, Jeff Parker, and Dan Abnett all really built a gorgeous world for these characters.

I like that Mera has been receiving more attention and focus over these past few years not only in the comics but also in the form of other media like the cartoons and now the movies. I hope this grows for her.

So is Mera's trident permanent or temporary. I dont mind either way just as long as hydrokinesis remains as her main weapon.
