Actually, I'm not sure if you have "an astonishing ant man 47 comic book" or not.

Here in the United States, there was

Marvel Premiere #47 from back in 1979 which featured the Scott Lang version of Ant-Man, but the book wasn't called "Astonishing Ant-Man".
However, saying the cover price is "12p" makes it sound like it was a foreign imprint, since I would guess your "12p" is possibly "12 pence". You would need to actually look inside the comic book itself to see what it says about all that.
As to being a "fake" or not, I wouldn't automatically think so. The only thing I can guess is that it wasn't a copy for stores here in the United States.

It's the British price variant distributed in the UK. It's not a fake, you can see the entry and a pic at the Grand Comic Book Database https://www.comics.org/issue/1562865/ (they don't allow hotlinking so can't post the pic, sorry).

    Lonestar also has one listed...

A lot of Marvel books sold in the UK around that time have the same pricing. How that affects value, I'm not sure. Some collectors only want the American version, some collect British price variants, etc. so value will reflect demand when you try to sell it and what potential customers are interested. The signature by Layton only affects value if it's certified (by CCG or whatever, otherwise it's just scribbles on the cover as far as value is concerned.

PS do a google image search for Marvel Premiere 47 UK price variant and you will find a couple of images of different copies of it. Do one for MArvel Comics UK price variant and you can see other examples.
