he's part of the royal family. there was nothing wrong with the royal family. it was trying to replace the x-men with inhumans that failed. black bolt took a back seat to those new inhumans. the best inhuman stories being told today involve the core royal family or characters who have very weak ties to nu-inhuman society.

He's a spin-off of the franchise. If you're gonna argue that Ms. Marvel and Moon Girl prove the Inhumans are totes popular, yo, then you can't say Deadpool somehow doesn't count.

He isn't a mutant, he doesn't belong to any of the X-Men team books. He isn't an X-Men. On the other hand, Moon Girl & Ms. Marvel are actually Inhumans.
