When you say without fear of cancellation in respects to Ms Marvel, as much as I love the characters her sales have declined in recent years. At one point she was the second highest selling female solo title in comics (behind Harley Quinn). But now she's actually around cancellation numbers. Other female characters like All New Wolverine and Spider-Gwen are outselling her.

For Moon Girl she's one of the lowest selling comics produced by Marvel (regularly in the bottom five).

Moon Girl is apparently on fire in the scholastic trades though. Also she's getting her own cartoon. I don't think she'll be cancelled any time soon.

Yeah I know, it seems like no matter how poorly she sells she'll still keep going. They'll probably ignore the Inhuman side of her in the cartoon.

Being "on fire" means she is selling well, just not from comic book stores. She's being marketed through a more accessible medium.

I'm sure you have the numbers to back that up, right?

You are aware that physical sales don't matter. Digital and trades are the bulk of sales nowdays.

    I don't know. That's what I'm asking.

But you guys are saying that it sells "on fire", then you must have access to the data, I assume.

This is a lie. Floppies still sell much better than digital copies.

    Says me.

Batman sells ~100k per month in floppies, right? He also is generally in the top of Comixology weekly ranking, and he achieves that selling ~5k digital copies in the Wednesday his book is released.

"Injustice" is the most popular digital-first comic book of all times, regularly on the top of the ranking, and I'm sure it isn't selling more than 100k every week.

So because you don't believe it, it's not the case.

    Okay.
If we assume that digital sells "way better" than floppies, then we also have to assume that "Batman" is selling more than 100K digital issues every two weeks.

If we assume that, then we also have to assume that "Injustice" sells more than 100k every week.

That would make "Injustice", a digital-first comic book, one of the most successful comic books of this century.

Do you have any evidence that digital sells better than floppies?

If "Moon Girl" sells amazingly digitaly, then the same must be true to other 86 comic books, including books that have already been canceled due to poor sales (like "Blue Beetle" and "America").

Are scholastics numbers accounted for? No. Will Scholastic reach more readers, new ones especially, than Comixology? Yes.

We get it. White men of adulthood don't like Moon Girl. Children do though. 4 and a half stars, 98 reviews.
