As someone who watches General Hospital(still can`t believe Clouds voice actor is on it), and Young and the Restless(and hates the entire Newman family except Adam), I took it as a bit of an..unwarranted insult :P.

I know who Victor Newman is for two reasons.

First, the laundry mat I sometimes go to has "The Young and the Restless" on about the time I go in there. Secondly, I recognized Eric Braeden from his younger days when he was in a lot of sci fi and fantasy shows and movies.

It was a sly implication that they are both soap opera characters.

Newman has totally been in fight scenes.

They were short, and one of them ended with a speargun bolt sticking out of him, but.

Since the time I said it, I've read some Victor Newman background and find he's survived all sorts of amazing things. He would probably survive Ollie's "You have failed this city" routine and be a recurring nemesis if he existed in a superhero setting with it's resources.
