I was happy to hear that from C2E2 today at least!

Bunn debunked that rumor months ago on tumblr. Maybe twitter too.
He also said recently that the story will continue after Hunt for Jimmy, and that it would lead to something big with Magneto.

Given the cast having 2 Wolverines, I have no interest in Blue. lol But I don't have issues with it continuing.
I feel bad for people who have favorite characters in Gold though...since Guggen doesn't do most of the cast justice, with select exceptions.

Can't wait to read all about Kitty & Colossus' honeymoon adventures!
And Marvel keeps wondering why their sales in the dumps.
Bunn said he was writing #31 like right after the rumors surfaced.
They’re probably splitting Gold into two teams, one will remain in Gold and the other will probably be a relaunch of Excalibur given how most of their members were there in the scene when Piotr went “What are we going to do with twelve X-Men?”. Last time that happened, we had Blue and Gold in the 90s. I’m hoping Guggenheim leaves after #30 and Kelly Thompson takes over and have Rogue lead the new Gold team (I’m sorry, I love you Bobby, but there’s no way he could be the leader when Rogue is right there). I’m fine with the substitute Gold team, but Ink and fake Pyro have got to go.
What else did they say? I wish they would put someone else on Gold at least.
Is Gold getting a new Writer???
There's no way Guggs is staying though that's all I care about. Bunn is doing good in Blue but Gold needs some change if it's going to stay as the main Xbook.
Guggenheim has been doing terrible shit on the X-Men ever since his very first comic (the one where Wolverine regenerates from a skeleton in seconds and fights Lucifer every time he has a near death experience) but he's pals with Daniel Ketchum who kept hiring him on new projects, culminating in offering him the flagship title without allowing anyone else to pitch. Of course, Ketchum got fired quickly after so it's insane that another editor doesn't put an end to it already. Instead Marvel is doubling down on all his terrible ideas.
