Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft

Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”

With DC rolling through all their Golden Age stuff, for not only the big 3, but now Green Arrow and hopefully more (Aquaman, Flash, GL, etc...), I think there's now hard data showing Marvel that people WILL buy GA material, still. Obviously not in the same volume as more modern material, but the want is there. I know we've talked about this ad nauseam in the past, but for both MMWs and Omnibuses, perhaps a slight uptick in cover price (like the "X-Men tax") to help cover restoration costs since it's much more involved in these 70+ year old books than something from the silver/bronze age.
"Boomerang arrow, Kate... It comes back to you in the end. Boomerang. Respect it." - Clint
"Why the hell do you need an arrow that comes back to you after you shoot it, Clint?" - Kate
    "Because... Boomerangs." - Clint.

Absolutely I'd paid more to cover restoration and etc. I'd be fine with $150 or $200 for each GA cap volume.

I can't wait to show off my ballot - it's definitely going to be have at least two (if not seven) choices that appear on no other ballot.

I figure 4 of my choices will make the top 50. It will be interesting to see who has the most off the wall or obscure choices.

Golden Age Captain America would've been a good one. I forgot about that. I have vol 1 so would buy a vol 2.
Most of my choices aren't obscure. Looking at my list, I can see all of them being made with 6-7 of them almost guaranteed (depending on when they get to upper volumes of some series). The other few would not surprise me either.

My odd ball I wound up tossing off the list because it is pretty unlikely was "Marvel: The Graphic Novels". It would technically be a hodgepodge volume but at least it would be one with a strong theme.

I would totally get that omnibus. One of my prior year choices was Marvel Comics Presents Omnibus collecting the serials and one off stories.

One of my most "weird" Omni-wishes was solicited: Cable: Soldier X (CABLE (1993) 97-107, SOLDIER X 1-12 ) so this year I don't think I voted for weird requests considering "X-Factor (90's by Peter David, J. M. DeMatteis and Todd DeZago )" is a regular on the last years list!

What about you guys? Whats your most "oddball" omniwish?
Most Wanted Omni: X-Factor 90's (Peter David, DeMatteis and DeZago); X-Factor Investigations (Peter David); X-Men: Legacy (Carey); Alpha Flight Vol2 (Mantlo, Hudnall & Lee); Moon Knight by Ellis, Wood & Bunn OHC ; Moon Knight Vol 1; Excalibur Omnibus Vol. 1;Animal Man Omnibus vol. 2; Animal Man by Lemire; Hellblazer by Ennis ; Question by Dennis O'Neil + Rick Veitch.
