    Default Spider-Man: The University Years

A miniseries set after "Spider-Man No More" which focuses on Peter still trying not to have an emotional breakdown even after he returns and continuing to isolate himself and terrify everyone around him at University. After Flash returns from active duty during Easter Gwen organises a two week holiday away from New York and Peter is... "invited" to come along and throughout the two weeks, the Spidey gang becomes whole and Peter thinks he can never be happier...

Issue One: Peter after snarling at Gwen after failing at the test beforehand, is alerted by the professor that if that behaviour continued then he will be forced to leave the classrooom permanently. Sadly Peter is still in Objectivist mode and he believes that everyone hates him and doesn't give a damn about him in the slightest so he believes that he shouldn't give a damn about anyone else other than Aunt May and MJ. With Easter coming up, Gwen starts to plan a nice trip away from New York and she invites MJ to come along with her, Harry and Flash. MJ asks to take along Peter, because she has been paying attention to him and she knows that he is close to utterly breaking down and they plan ahead for the tim the trip begins. On the day Uni breaks up, Peter is alerted that Aunt May wanted him to pick something up from their house, Peter does and then is technically kidnapped by Flash and is taken away to Florida where the Vacation begins.

Issue Two: Peter throughout the next few days is understandably angry at having been taken on holiday without his consent, and as suc still acts uncaring and rude until at the end of one of those days when Gwen confronts him and reveals the actual reason for him being taken on the holiday: that after everything that had happened to him recently that he could actually enjoy himself for once, but she now see's that that is impossible and she finally agrees to fully leave him alone.

Issue Three: After spending the next day in both shock and realisation of just what he'd been acting like to everyone, Peter decides to the next morning after that to firstly apologise to everyone and only MJ forgives him immediately and he decides that he needs to 100% earn their forgiveness.

Issue Four: Peter decide the best way to earn the groups forgiveness is to try all new experiences as some ups and downs begins, he starts to gain a great friendship with Harry in particular but it appears to him that Gwen is starting to hate him now and he decides that to make her become friendly with him, he'll make sure that she can get together with Flash.

Issue Five: During the next few days, Peter subtly places Gwen and Flash in situations where they can become close together, which does not got brilliantly. Gwen openly admits to MJ that she doesn't really care that much about Flash mostly because he's been away in the army and that she's falling in love with Peter but she doesn't want to admit it in case things go wrong and MJ comes up with an idea.

Issue Six: MJ, Harry and Flash are able to work together to make sure that Gwen and Peter are able to spend romantic times together ending with dinner at a fancy restaurant and finishing with their first ever kiss. After the holiday, they return to Uni Peter's personality is nohing like it ever was before and not only are Peter and Gwen rivals, they are Boyfriend and Girlfriend and he hangs out with his friends. THE END

So is this a pitch for something you'd like to do? Personally, I think it'd be a good idea to do some kind of Untold Tales stories set in Peter's college days. It's arguably the most iconic part of the character's history, and the college environment is different now than when the comics were originally published.

    Some thoughts...
    - Peter's objectivist mode was at the tail end of the Lee/ Ditko run, before he became friends with Harry or met MJ.
    - I do like the idea of a story set shortly after Spider-Man No More, although the continuity may be wonky since a lot of stories happened in quick succession.
    - Peter seems like more of a jerk here than he was in the original comics.
    - There should be some attention to the superhero A-plot.
    - There's definitely potential in the idea of Peter and Gwen recognizing their relationship.
    Sincerely,

We've lived in an situation where Flash returned from being in the army during Christmas according to Spider-Man Blue, which I don't think is possible at all since he left a few months after he started Uni and there has been no indications as of HOW Peter stopped acting as an objectivist, except for a single line from a Wiki that he got along with them... When?

The meta-answer would be that he as no longer in his objectivist face when he stopped being co-written by Steve Ditko. An in-story explanation is that as he got friendlier with Harry, Gwen, MJ, Flash and company, he had less reason to be an objectivist since he now had an okay social life.

So considering the limited details that we have, if Marvel did another Untold Tales of Spider-Man set during his time in university, what main themes should they focus on since the first Untold Tales had the theme of Superheroes coming in the main front again, so what do you think could work, I have some ideas mostly focusing on bonds are the strongest thing that you can focus on in your life. Any ideas?

    GOT IT!!

For the first issue you need to show how hated both Peter and Spider-Man are by the public and throughout the issues show how the public and superhero communities opinions on both change. With Peter having MJ there is a definitive need and as for Spider-Man, how about Captain America? The two of them have always had a father/son esque relationship and he could the person to help Spider-Man become the light hearted and joking around but extremely noble and brave hero and even better he could reveal his secret identity to him, which would cause a unique situation to JJJ as the hero that he deeply admire and respects, openly states that he trusts and repects the "Menace" Spider-man.
