But i agree that Hammerhead in the trailer of Silver Lining looked more robotic whic certainly moves him into Silvermane territory. We have to see how they develop it.

the only thing I'm not looking forward to this, is the freaking screwball season 3 challenges, how annoying. I normally dont have fond things to say about most BND characters but this game made me like Mr. Negative but man this game made me hate Screwball even more.

Hopefully they make finally busting Screwball very satisfying for those who became really annoyed with her missions (and Screwball herself).

Calling it for being an unsatisfying conclusion to Screwball. Likely no boss-fight or her even getting webbed up.
She either gets away or is busted in a cut-scene. I'm even expecting her to get found by cops and arrested over a phone call.

I think even Insomniac would realize how unsatisfying it would be for players if she got away after all this time spent doing her missions, and the fact that we couldn't even keep her in custody after the base game.

But I would find it kind of hilarious if they pull an Arkham Asylum with the end of her side-mission .

I don't think it's gonna happen, but I really wish we get a moment where we finally get to go nuts and beat the crap out of Screwball once and for all. I thought the main game and the first DLC did a good enough job of making her tolerable enough that you love to hate, but she became so insufferable and unlikable by the end of DLC 2 I just wanna see her comeuppance badly.

If they need a new screwball type character/challenge for the sequel, I think Mysterio would be a decent fit for it

Mysterio would be a fantastic choice for challenges especially since his illusions could make for interesting fights, chases, or parkour. Even giving a satisfying boss battle since he's not the most capable fighter thus relying on his tricks.

Like Mysterio makes the city fall apart around Spider-man and the challenge is to web up as much stuff before it hits the ground. Or a building becomes a monster that Peter has to take down by parkour and web strikes as quickly as possible. Or even location challenges like finding a guy in a crowd controlling the illusions as fast as possible and having to avoid or work around the traps and tricks Mysterio has laid out.

I don't know, there is so much opportunity for Mysterio that it would be a shame if Screwball came back.

For once I wish Peter actually was SpOck .

I agree she was fine in the base game and when she first made her "return" in "The Heist" but she's quickly worn out her welcome.

I think we're pretty likely going to get Mysterio in the sequel (along with the other major villains they teased but who never actually appeared in the game). They might expand on that Scorpion nightmare sequence for his gimmick, although that might be a little too Arkham.

I'd rather the Taskmaster challenges make a return then Screwball.

Starting in March the video game is getting a comic book adaptation titled "City At War". Written by Dennis Hopeless (Spider-Woman) and drawn by Michele Bandini (Amazing Spider-Man #9-10), the 6-issue series will be re-telling the events of the game, followed by new series that will expand on the story and the world of the "Marvel Gamerverse"

Gamerverse? I wonder if that means it'll be expanded beyond Spider-Man?

Like I said in another thread I'll be getting the City at War comic when it comes out. As for whether there'll be more ''gamerverse'' comics beyond Spider-Man than my guess would be yes. Only a guess mind LOL.

Just as long as the games don't conform to whatever happens there.

I'm not a fan of how some comic bridges and retcons worked their way into Dragon Age and Mass Effect .

Considering how many adaptions of other media stuff Marvel has done, this doesn't surprise me a lick, and is probably more practical then a full-on PS4 Spider-Man comic.

I wonder what the new content will be? Stuff cut from the game or illustrations of events that are only discussed in-game? Maybe adapting stuff from the novels?

I guess if I had to hazard a guess as to how they'll divide the story:

    Issue 1 - Spider-Man vs. Fisk/Museum mission.

    Issue 2 - Spider-Man vs. Shocker/Demons/Osborn rally

    Issue 3 - Miles focus/Mr. Negative

    Issue 4 - Mr. Negative/The Raft

    Issue 5 - Sinister Six Fights/Mr. Negative

    Issue 6 - Final Boss
