Everything I've heard about the game makes it sound more like the occasional stretch in the Ultimate comics where they were broken up than OMD; while not together, they hadn't fallen out of love with each other and you "know" they're going to work it out eventually.

I doubt we'll get any resolution like that between them.

I know that the marriage is seen in the Sega game (Vs the Kingpin) and the later PS1/Dreamcast/N64 game. In both, she's pretty much shown in the exact same situation-chained and being lowered into a pit, a "damsel in distress" so to speak. All the other games which she appears seem to be based on the Ultimate or Raimi movie versions....could be wrong though.

Not if you count the mobile game, Spider-Man Unlimited. Some of the alternate spiders in that game are MJs (such as Spider-Island MJ or MJ from RYV or Mangaverse MJ). But those are just skins on the same base character.

It sounds like the MJ sections of this game are going to be different from the Spider-Man sections. Probably more stealth based than the Spider-Man portions of the game.

Pretty sure the Lego games did that too. Then again, those games can have you pretty much play as any character after they're unlocked. You can even play Aunt May!
