Default Wonder Woman needs a PRACTICAL costume!

As She could be easily shot dead by a stray bullet, too dangerous for a melee fighter.
Her old costume is just impractical.
I think a bullet-proof suit is necessary for her to survive in a messy battle (too many stray bullets)
    so i redesigned it(joking)

But seriously, if she's always got shot (from behind), I think she'd better put on some bulletproof suits.

I'm with you! In Rucka's run, at least she bounced back up and healed quickly. This JL stuff is just horrid.

I miss the 'I'm blind and can sense the air moving in front of the bullet' days.

Very true. Current story is a mess. These writers just don't know nor love the characters!

    Made a small adjustment...

Practical costumes are for streetlevel billionaires and their gang.

Trinity actually just did a thing with her being blind. She was pretty badass in it, using her other senses to pretty awesome lengths.

    Still impractical.
Head/neck also needs protection. They're vital organs.
(and she was shot in the NECK recently, the suit you posted is of no use in that situation:P)

    And why pigtail? impractical!
    My version's better

Never was a big fan of those redesigns to be honest. They would fit in better in a sci fi military setting (Like Mass effect for example) but lacked personality to be in a Superhero comic

Let's be honest: in a few months time this won't even be an issue anymore as we'll see her come out unscathed from a bomb blast or something.

With something as wildly inconsistent as this, I wouldn't worry about the protective capabilities of the costume.

But back to the topic, these costumes don't look bulletproof, just some thin fabric added. And head/neck no protection.

See? Even her ARMOR is of no use. let alone some thin fabric.
I think she needs some REAL bulletproof meterial.(Maybe ask Batman for help?)

I think Amazons should be able to make armor. I mean let's be honest the Amazons should be able to make a thin armor that works well for them. I mean thanks to JL Diana is a joke. I mean no one questions men with the whole less is more but with Diana, I got a nice redesign.

Yep. Actually, a bunch of redesigns use gold and white for Diana.

It's mostly to move her costume and brand kit away from Superman's red and blue and toward colors that can be solely her own. Gold tiara, gold lasso, gold armor. I feel like Diana should have an outfit for every new environment, like Batman. Rather than a closet full of tactical armor, give her costumes that speak to the tastes and expectations of her audience. "Fashion is a language" and whatnot.

I always wondered why they just didn't give her a version of Hippolytas costume
