Can a standalone Snoke and Ben Solo interquel film work now?

Seems like more of a thing for the tie in books.

It's true that I can imagine a lot of future Ben Solo/Kylo Ren content is going to have to come in books and comics, especially in regards to his family, and that's great, but if Adam Driver is up for playing the character again along with Andy Serkis and expand the Ben/Snoke relationship further, I'd be up for seeing it in a movie. Besides which there's a good chance Mark might change his mind about playing Luke again, especially if it's a meatier role in a single movie (plus I suspect it's inevitable he'll be in IX as a Force Ghost anyway).

Agreed. There’s no way they get rid of Adam Driver.

Much like Harrison Ford before him, Driver has the best shot of having a movie career outside of Star Wars. I don't see him staying past this trilogy.

Pretty sure it's already been shown that Daisy and Jon have feet in stuff outside of Star Wars too, but fair point. We'll have to see what they do with Kylo from IX onwards, honestly I've really warmed to him as a tragic villain after Last Jedi so I would prefer him to stick around, even if Adam Driver isn't playing him but they have an older version in a future movie as a fullycorrupted villain or redeemed hero.

I think Daisy will try to make a go of it but will eventually end up going the prestige TV route via HBO or the BBC.

I think Daisy did some interviews recently where she said she was through with the series after episode 9.
