And later this month, Barbara Ross' new Maine Clambake Mystery is due out: Muddled Through.

Checked out Death by Beach Read from a library for my Mom today.

Also, a publisher I like that publishes collections of old pulp stories is having a 25% off sale through their website this weekend (through July 4th).
See: https://steegerbooks.com/save-25-thi...-sale-is-on-2/ for specifics if you're interested.

    I'm planning to order a few books myself . . .

Safe House by Stuart Woods. The worst of all the Stone Barrington books. idiot plot and characterization. Moronic ending. Skip it, in fact run away if you see it.

The Investigator - John Standford - Letty Daveport in her own book. Worth it. Good story and a worthy successor to Lucas.

Reminds me of an old book review that's been attributed to Dorothy Parker in the past:
"This is not a novel to be tossed aside lightly. It should be thrown with great force."

I'm a big fan of Vicki Delany's work but while I've got the first two books in this series, I haven't gotten around to reading them yet.
