Her boobs are bigger than her head and her face is completely disproportional. At least Land’s Emma looks human.
Emma has been spankbank to people for decades. Don't be prudish...
If you mean me, I do adult comics. I don't hide it. I also don't post it in there frequently. Sue me. /shrug.
If you don't mean me. Then yes, people are always posting sexy images of Psylocke because she has been sexified. Don't be Prudish lol.
I'll give you this lol.
I was posting the second image primarily for how the lower body is drawn, but i see your point. :P
Some women do have boobs bigger than their heads. Also the face is disproportional. Also waist up, you are correct lol.
Well yeah Betsy is usually one that gets sexy images posted about her, Emma to...much more than say Jubilee for obvious reasons, not saying it's all right just shouldn't be a big surprise...
As for the characters involved I just hope that they don't spend half the time moping and/or brooding about the troubles in their lives...and aren't pushed into some romance that will only last until the book ends...
I was going to say the whole different you know what for different folks but...Emma lends herself to more cheesecake drawings, more than the others with a few exceptions...
Maybe it just depends on the characters that he gets to draw...
I have no problem with Greg Land and actually enjoy his art quite a bit. I think Rosenberg can be a good writer but Marvel tried this approach to Astonishing the last time when Marjorie Liu was writing it --> random team starring in a core-but-not-"important" X-Men book, and sales were just mediocre. I fully expect this to last one story-arc before the inevitable X-relaunch.
I'm late to the party, but I have thoughts.
- Can't say I'm particularly thrilled. Whilst I'm happy all involved characters get a role, none of them are favorites of mine. And though Soule has done next to nothing with most of his Astonishing roster, it's hard to beat as it included a number of my favorite X-Men. I'll be devastated if this leaves Psylocke, Angel, Bishop and/or Mystique in limbo, so I hope they graduate to other titles.
- Not a big fan of Alex's OG uniform tbh, though I love Ali's look. I hope Colossus wears pants, and I'd be thrilled if he grew a beard again. Warpath looks great- I always loved his black & red uniform.
- Regarding the secret member, it has to be someone big right? Otherwise, why bother keeping it secret? Emma Frost or even Cyclops would make sense except I very much doubt they'd take orders from Alex & Hank. Wolverine? Domino? A repowered Dani Moonstar?
- Reavers? That's neat. I assume Donald Pierce will be leading them which gives them an edge.
I imagine so. The Gold team we began with is slowly being disassembled- Old Man Logan quit, Colossus is set to become apart of the Astonishing crew Nightcrawler left w/ Jean and Storm is poised to leave for X-Men Red too. That leaves only Kitty & Rachel. Of course, the most recent arc did bring in Rogue, Iceman, Magik, Magma, Armor, Pyro & Ink (perhaps for this very reason) so I suppose the new line-up could then be made up of those individuals. But there are certainly more interesting X-Men out there that aren't currently attached to an X-Title (Jubilee, Cannonball, Sunspot or Northstar for example) It’s worth mentioning that Dust supposedly has a big role in one of the X-Books, so perhaps she’ll be in Gold or Astonishing… Above all though, the biggest change needed in X-Men Gold is the creative team. Guggenheim does nothing for the characters and his stories are cliché and uninspired. The artists have been a mixed bag, and I'd like some consistency, even if artists are rotated between arcs rather than issue-by-issue. I'm ready for CHANGE.
Blue has brought together a great set of characters, and I love that Magneto and Polaris have been given the opportunity to grow away from the 'prime' X-Men and pursue their own agendas. Danger was a cool addition. LOVE Daken, and I'm beyond excited for Elixir and the Acolytes to feature in X-Men Blue. I'd be stoked if Quicksilver, Emma Frost, Mystique, Frenzy, Sunfire, Marrow or Mondo were to join on a full-time basis too, but I've no idea if Bunn plans to expand or modify his line-up again anytime soon.
1. Still a LOT of Avengers without a home, but I'm pleased Hank has returned to the X-Men, though he's got a lot to atone for. A shame his reunion with Simon was so brief.
2. I'd assume so. I'd hate if Piotr were to be on two teams at once, especially given he's only been a lovesick puppy in Gold anyways. Give his spot on the team to someone else.
3. Probably. We heard some time ago that there would eventually be changes to the roster, so it makes sense for James to be departing from the WX crew.
4. There's some hype for Astonishing now but I can't help but feel as if that was poor planning on their part. Now we already know exactly what happens to Havok in X-Men Blue before we even get there. Similarly, we now know Piotr is safe and sound after Lydia Nance and her Sentinel Pal in X-Men Gold were planning to use Colossus to decimate the mutant population.
No telepaths, teleporters or flyers, and they've got two blasters and three bruisers instead. I wonder if the secret member will fill the void, or whether they’ll remain a somewhat grounded team, limited in their capabilities.
Then again Lorna hasn't really had a chance to mingle with the mainstream X-Men and leaving her in Blue won't have that happen anytime soon more than likely...
Cast is sooo boring
