I think Warren & Raven'll be OK, they're basically stalwarts, like Beast & Colossus. Perhaps Bunn'll pursues some of his unfinished business with them. It's ALL 'bout Dani's BIG return now, tho, CAN'T... HAPPEN... SOON ENOUGH!! The waitin' in the wings thing NEEDS to be OVER, she's got too much value & worth to be hangin' back & held down. I just hope they make her powers comin' back eventful enough, 'cause it deserves to be.

Yeah, I think most fans are pretty fed up, and feelin' like Guggs is just a non-starter at this point.

You're not wrong. It's only a matter of time until both are seen again, but I'd prefer they were on a roster ASAP rather than left in writers limbo for a time. And gawd I can't wait for Dani to make a comeback. Very interested in seeing which book she'll feature in.

I really don't know how Guggenheim even got in the door. I haven't liked any of his comic books and his writing as a whole is of a poor quality. And given the intention was for X-Men Gold to be the flagship X-Book, you'd think Marvel would attach a writer more capable of delivering quality X-Men content on a biweekly basis.

I'm choosing to overlook the whole retcon of Wanda & Pietro not being mutants or children of Magneto lol. And with Quicksilver's fate in question post-No Surrender, I'd love for him to return to Magneto's side. And yeah, as stated, I have a lot of love for those characters.

It grew on me, to the point where I didn't despise it as much as I did at first. But I still prefer her classic vivaciousness, combined with that cavalier attitude of hers, it's just SO "Dazzler" to me.

Oh, and if Siryn does end up on the team...

I do, too, and am pretty sure the VAST majority of fans feel the same. Also pretty sure, that in the near future, we won't have to. That's my hope anyway, 'cause it MUST be undone, ASAP! I mean, it was SO poorly received--deservedly!--how couldn't it be. The HoM's a treasure trove of unparalleled riches, and needs to be restored!

Then again how many years did Marvel leave Warren as NuAngel, the long haired hippie nobody there to hold up the background...hoping that he gets in a book as well...as for Siryn if she were to join Astonishing she'd probably have more of a storyline with Warpath than Dazzler, though both could be done...

Agreed. Soule is literally writing and AMAZING Star Wars book, but his X-men Work leaves much to be desired.

I think the deal with Land is, for a casual buyer of comics, when they first see his art it looks super awesome like photo realistic style

It's only people who are aware of the controversies involving tracing from pornography, and who have gotten used to the female facial expressions in particular being wildly inappropriate for the scenes, etc. who hate Land

That's pretty much it for me. Most artists, including myself troll sites with nude bodies male and female for references. Now a lot of people, especially on Deviantart made it a business to provide reference poses for us. Land can do decent backgrounds and stuff, but when he draws those women... I don't get it. Because even when he does trace (Which most artists do again at some point) he reduces the womens bodys and inflates the upper portions. I do wide hips, but i try to even it out all over. He tapers women below the waist to a ridiculous point for a "Professional" artist.

Wasn't really a fan of the look and the way Bendis wrote her into that status. I did like Dazzler's makeover look in A-Force though (though speaking of A-Force, kinda a shame we'll probably never see Lightbringer again).

Oh Id definitly be for that though I dont see why she would need to be kept hidden as she's a C-list character. She's been on several teams since being depowered so revealing her as a member from the beginning wouldnt necesarily spoil anything

well, they did hid the repowering of Jubilee. She was on the cover but without the fireworks for months, until the date of release got close

Jubilee's abilities were physical. Her vampire fangs were a dead give away and her mutant power is very visual. Its not the same with Dani. She could appear here in an action pose and no one would think nothing of it
