The concept was good and the team is good, but X is the only one that ever says/does anything. Even when he does it's like "wtf are you on about?"

Completely in agreement with you, at first for this cast I was very excited, but after issue 2 it was falling at the speed of light.

That's right, that's why I hate this book, and what it has in 2 of my 5 favorite characters in the comics, but they were so badly written and out of character, and if they did not do nothing more than decorate the landscape, that's why I consider it the worst x-book currently.

I think the re-cast and the writer's change are great,

I also support the comments that ask the unknown member to be Sage.

I like Rosenberg and the cast is decent, but the addition of Land on art makes this a Hard Pass. Porn Tracer is a dealbreaker.

Astonishing was supposed to be leading to a big shake up when RessurXion started, I wonder if those plans have changed or if it was just promotional hype.

Got to wonder where Logan will end up. If so many lite-defections (characters pulling double-duty) are going to leave Gold without anything to make it stand out, perhaps he turns up there. Or, perhaps, he is the secret member of this team. But I don't think so.

I do hope the secret member is a woman though. The franchise has such a rich tapestry of fantastic female characters, it'd be a shame not to mine that for all it's worth.

And I'm happy about Land art, so long as it's Bunncanny Land and not Weapon X land. I was flicking through my trades the other day and I forgot just how good he made some of those panels look (that early Xorn sequence, in particular).

...Xavier was the big shake-up. He was dead now he's not. Things feel pretty shaken to me (even if the bald creep shoulda stayed dead, imo)

If he ends up back on an X-Team, which is probably more inevitable then a question of "if," it'll probably be whatever the flagship team is considered to be, if Gold is still continuing.

Oh I agree! I didn't really have high expectations since Soule's horrible execution of IvX, but this is just....sad use of a lot of strong characters

I'd like someone more surprising than Sage or Emma. Maybe someone from a younger/different generation (New Mutants/GenX/NewXmen)
