Not really, the Matrix is linked directly to his mind so that it becomes reality, The Oasis is just an avatar controlled remotely in virtual reality, he'd have the same limitations as everyone else which he explicitly doesn't in the Matrix, especially in the book version where avatars power is generated more from their rpg style level and how powerful the items they have are

Edit: Oh yeah, and the the creators(and at the end Wade) have admin accounts that have infinite health, access to every spell/item in the game, can literally enter whatever command they want and the game will try and make it happen, and can instakill anyone they look at

Look, if we're going to let Neo use his computer reality warping in a non-virtual, physically real environment then he can damn well use it when inside an actual computer system thing.

There's still be a lot of normal maxed out avatars with items and equipment that could casually kill him to say nothing of the admin avatars, when the evil corporation raised a magic barrier over the first challenge(book) the Hunter clans first reaction was to start dropping nukes on it

Those items are just software to Neo. They're barely real to him. He can pull them apart bit by bit . Neo isn't an admin avatar. He's basically the system admin. This is exactly what he does. You need self-aware superprograms likeagent Smith to make it a challenge.

We saw him do something like that once against Smith the first time, and then never display that ability again for the next 4 and a half hours of matrix movie despite facing numerous other agents*, specifically he was still vulnerable to stuff in the matrix like bladed weapons(saw him specifically cut and bloodied from blocking a sword barehanded), bullets(he either stopped or dodged them for a reason), and even agents who at the very least made him work, he was still vulnerable to being trapped in a program separate from the matrix(and utterly helpless against the guy who owned it) etc, software can still hurt him, very very low software compared to stuff he'll be facing in Oasis, that artifact the big bad used to kill every single avatar in the sector would have killed him dead, and again this is assuming they even come down to fight him instead of just dropping nukes on him from ships in orbit, something he has no demonstrated way of countering or just surviving that we ever saw.

And then you get to the actual admins, who again, infinite life, maxed abilities, every spell and item in the game, can kill any other avatar in the game with a literal instakill command, and can literally say what they want to happen and have it instantly happen, they could delete him along with the entire system he was in with a sentence

    * and frankly, those kinds of abilities rely on the person he's using them on to be a part of the Matrix as well, you want to handwaive him everything fine, but that doesn't mean the people he's facing suddenly have the vulnerability of being tied to the Matrix as well.

IIRC The One was a programmed aberration that was meant to balance The Matrix, so it isn't like Neo is completely unbounded by rules. He's still operating by the rules, just a different set within the superset that is either The Matrix, or The Oasis.

A sysadmin or Avatar owner would have an advantage of not having their physical body harmed by events in The Oasis, so they can keep respawning.

Neo...doesn't. If anything if he gets his One powers in The Oasis, he just needs to be "killed" once, and that's it.

So this scenario actually works against him.

Especially since an admin could say "anyone killed by user Neo respawns with no loss of level and restoration of all items" and boom, he's essentially a minor annoyance, or "User Neo is permanently designated as non pvp regardless of zone" at which point he can't hurt anyone, seriously the admins power was essentially limitless within the Oasis

They flat out said that their avatars are immortal and invincible.

IMHO Neo is pretty easy to deal with, since The Architect was pretty much the admin; The One only existed because he and The Oracle allowed it.

A worse case would be The Oasis' programming being invaded by something like Skynet or another entity capable of subverting the source code, and which is ruthless enough to not leave players a glaring weakness to "quest" at.

Ultimate worst case scenario would be someone like Motoko Kusanagi, since she operates in both real and virtual worlds simultaneously.

The Admin would be too busy slapping down her Avatar to realize she's got an arrest warrant and is standing right outside his door in the real world...
