Legion of Super Bloggers review of L.E.G.I.O.N. #28 - Keith Giffen returns for one issue to co-plot and draw one of the most bizarre issues of any comic ever as Stealth gives birth to Dox's child. Hard labor indeed. You've got to see this one to believe it.

Legion of Super Bloggers review of L.E.G.I.O.N. #29 - Dox appoints Lyrissa's replacement, two new members officially join the group, and Lobo gives someone the finger.

One of my favorite comic book characters joins the team in this issue. Adam Blake, Captain Comet. I do think they rarely did him justice in terms of how powerful he really is (and smart), but it was great to have a place to regularly see him for a while. It was also frustrating that they almost completely ignored his SSSV past.

    Peace

I already was a great Ultra Boy fan when this came out, but it remains one of my favorite Legion issues ever. The art could have been better, though.

I liked the choice of Phase as second in command but I still say that killing off Lyrissa Mallor was the biggest mistake the book ever made. She was such a dynamic character that could stand toe to toe with Dox. And her daughter, Lydea, never could fill her shoes in the group IMO.

Legion of Super Bloggers review of L.E.G.I.O.N. #30 - New recruits are introduced - and one of them is a spy for new villain G'odd. Also, it's Lobo vs Phase. Hey Lobo, you can't hurt (kill) someone you can't touch.

Right around here through the end of the Trinity crossover is probably my favorite era of the series.

The R.E.C.R.U.I.T.S. saga with the spy was my favorite storyline of the series. I thought G'odd (and Rebel) were the best villains of the series as well.

Legion of Super Bloggers review of L.E.G.I.O.N. #31 - Stealth returns and learns of a heartbreaking tragedy. Lobo and Telepath go on an adventure and run into Captain Marvel. This was sort of a crossover issue with the War Of The Gods storyline.

Legion of Super Bloggers review of L.E.G.I.O.N. #33 - Stealth confronts Lydea over Lyrissa's death, the team begin to suspect there is a traitor amongst them, Dox is in love, and L.E.G.I.O.N. begins to fall apart.

Legion of Super Bloggers review of L.E.G.I.O.N. #34 - It's Lobo vs Ice Man (with Lobo doing his best Yosemite Sam impression). Several members contemplate resigning. And Dox makes a shocking announcement.

Legion of Super Bloggers review of L.E.G.I.O.N. #35 - Dox disbands L.E.G.I.O.N., Lobo gets a headstone marker, Lady Quark resigns, Dox gets punched, and the group faces a new team of villains.

No one has commented in awhile so I'm not sure if anyone is still interested, but here's the next issue:

Legion of Super Bloggers review of L.E.G.I.O.N. #36 - Lobo is alive and kicking, Garryn Bek steps up, the team begins to come back together, and Dox meets Ig'nea's father.
