Great team, love every character there, just call them anything but Justice League or anything JL derivative.
EVERYONE! Stop trying to "fix" or reinvent the Justice League. We know who the Justice League is (you can cycle character in but you are NOT going to replace or "fix" them) .
A legit "new" team that has any chance, should be competing withe the JL, not just swimming in their backwash.
If you already know they can't compete, then you know you haven't actually come up with anything that new or interesting.
If it's legit a unique "NEW" idea, make them own that!
A new name, and reason for existing counts.
If all you see or labeled them is; the new JL ______ , you've already proclaimed them a failure.

That’s true! I’d give them a unique name and Mo. I think they can go against the League as a more modern down to earth team recruiting and protecting meta humans.

Static went 4
Jason went 3 in one run and 2 in another
Jaime went the same as Jason
Steph and Sideways went 2ish

They account for almost 0ver 300 solo issues
2 tv shows starring Static or Star Girl


That is way more than what Jubliee has ever done.

In fact excluding X-23-that is more than anything the X-teens have done outside of new X-Men Academy & Gen X & New Mutants in terms of solos.

Static and Jason have done more than all the black males of X-men have done in the last 40 years.

In fact that is more than most of marvel's teen population not named Miles, Kamala, Shuri, Moon Girl or Squirrel Girl.

If this was a book it could live off of Static's and Jaime's rouge gallery for a good 4-5 arcs.

And if you have Star Girl-you might get Johns as the writer. If it's JSA Johns-you might get an 80 issue run.

Jason, Courtney and Jaime make a fantastic new trinity. . . and I have the perfect name for them.

and you added red devil to that team which is pretty interesting because a complete team DOES need a magic expert but red devil really isn't magical

But you ADDED 2 bat people on that team. . . and thats HORRIBLE. Jeez.

So I'm wondering if you mind sharing your thoughts behind the rest of these choices cause I don't wanna think of them as

"The New Trash Titans" or whatever witticisms people are coming up with above.

Just whyd you pick who and what role you intend for them? If you get time.

So no as it is, I wouldn't support that title. I'd want to but ulitmately you Dc needs a team without a bat on it and... finally... making it a derivative of JL... whatever... does really doom the thing
from the jump for a lot of people.

That's a pretty great lineup!

I would swap out either:

Cassandra Cain/ Black Bat
or
Stephanie Brown/ Spoiler

and replace them with Vibe/Cisco Ramon.

TBH this reminds me of Marvel's CHAMPIONS book, w. a bunch of random teen characters put together by Waid to look good and whatnot.

Give them a name, like The Champions, of an adult group thats not being used right now. STORMWATCH!
