    Like last week, I am sharing a favorite of my youth. Dagar was a Sword and Sorcery comic (says so right on the cover) from Gold Key by Don Glut and the under-appreciated Jesse Santos. It wasn't always easy to find on the comic racks, but when I did I was always happy. Santos also painted the covers, like this one.

    Yeah, I don't think that comic had a very long shelf life, maybe a dozen issues, tops, I'm not sure.

    Aventure into Fear #19, cover by Gil Kane and inked by Ernie Chan - one of the first Filipino-American artists, he did a ton of horror comics along with war-related comics, several Conan covers and other sword and sorcery titles. One of the artists I grew up enjoying.
