    To be honest, I wasn't sure this theme would work that well, but you guys really dug up some fantastic covers.

    One of the first DC comics I bought as a kid. Many years later, when I got back into comics, I started sorting out all my old comics and I came across this one. I lamented the fact that I didn't have issue #1 and therefore decided to sell it spurred on by my wife's good intentions and encouragement for me to "grow up". Fortunately, due to my own procrastination I never got around to carrying out this heinous act. Being mainly a Marvel reader, it was only later that I did come to realise that this issue marked the very first appearance of Deathstroke. In other words, this comic is pretty important and is worth a fair packet
