We know that after issue 12 (the first 'season') there will be a second 'season' with a different name

The first "season" is twelve issues, but Morrison & Sharp are enjoying themselves so much they've confirmed that they're working on another "season" after a break to give Sharp time to keep up a monthly schedule. Given how insanely detailed his art is, I am shocked that he's managed to go this long without any delays, even with the head start.

He'll still do special projects and stuff, but he's done doing monthly comics. The only reason Morrison agreed to this one is because Didio agreed to give him carte blanche to do whatever he liked, he didn't have to participate in any of the usual crossover nonsense, and he would only have one artist, Sharp, for his entire run.

Comics has not seen the last of Grant Morrison, though. He's still got Wonder Woman: Earth One Vol. 2 in the pipeline and the sequel to Multiversity (although, that might be season two of The Green Lantern now that I think about it).

Guardians of the Multiverse will probably be the sequel to Multiversity. Looking forward to more Sharp art and a J Opeña-drawn annual, folks!

Great issue- I need to re-read it to catch the finer points mentioned here. I love the appearance of the Blue Meanies, they go well with the Yellow Submarine (Ultima Thule) from Final Crisis!

Grant pretty much has an open contract with DC. If he has a story to tell they’ll buy it. I’m still hoping for the sequel to Multiversity. I would also love to see him have a shot at The Flash. Dealing with mind bending feats and breaking to laws of physics sound perfect for Grant. Not to mention that The Flash ushered in the Silver Age and you know how much that means to him.

I'm really hoping for Multiversity Too, as well. Multiversity was so much fun (I'd really like it GL by Sharp and Multiversity in Absolute form, too!). Maybe working with some of those concepts and characters in GL will clarify for Morrison what he wants to do (I can only assume he doesn't have the idea fully formed or the books would be out, right?).

Thank you, that's a reasonable possibility! I guess that means dark rainbow fin lady is an important lantern. Morrison is keeping her close to the vest.
