Tank Girl, it seemed they were close to pulling it off but just didn't go far enough with the attitude which could have been corrected in the sequel. Also long before Wonder Woman it was a female superhero lead with a female director.

Hellboy, as it should have been a trilogy.

Dredd, surprised they didn't make a sequel considering how cheap it was compared to other flicks and 2000AD is ripe for ideas.

New Power Rangers, I was really surprised how good it was and there was a lot of potential there.

Kill Bill, I got really excited about Tarantino's idea about it being his Dollars trilogy with the daughters avenging their mothers.

NeverEnding story had two sequels....the first one sort of adapted the second half of the book. The third one was just a kind of weird thing with Jack Black as the villain. Both films completely recast pretty much everybody, even the voice of Falkor.
