Now I'm imagining the two Law Badges personified; Guardian and Dredd facing off. Both even once cloned from the original.
Imagine how insane the powerful clash of style, tone and attitude would have been seeing Jack Kirby and Carlos Ezquerra alternating pages and characters, although both with a similar underlying premise.

Absolutely , lot's of great parallels there.
Plus Guardian was always played straight, while here ^ the stronger implied irony in the name Peacemaker and the Law giver. (as your images and caption choices skilfully emphasize) Well done!
The Moore re-imagining as Comedian works too, but the helmet jibe makes this one a must.

Yes - would love to see these two go at it helmet-to-helmet! And with their absolute adherence the their respective dogmas, it'd be like the unstoppable force vs. the immovable object, were their objectives were to ever run counter to each other. I imagine a lot of yelling, followed by a lot of blood. Kinda like the stand-off scene in "The Rock" between Ed Harris and Michael Biehn. (which actually would have been good casting for Dredd and Peacemaker)
