I don't buy it if it's like, Batman and Daredevil fight each other for no reason, fight goes nowhere and then they become friends, team up to stop Kingpin & Ra's al Ghul... I'm 100% sure it will be like this... I don't have any hope to see a cross over with a good story.

Both characters' looks, by coincidence, were inspired by the Japanese manga, anime hero, the Bio-Booster Armor Guyver.

That explains it better than I did.
The other Generator Rex Salazar and Blue Beetle Jaime Reyes tech. expanding armor and weapons should be obvious.

Anyway I do think the two duos would make for a great and fun crossover.
