Since I haven't seen anyone mention about it yet, how did everyone feel about the Gamora's issue of Guardians #17

I liked how the Ultimates and Alpha Flight felt really bad about taking down Gamora down and seeing again just how unstoppable she really is.

Although I have a feeling I missed something so if anyone knows please let me know, was there another comic book that explained how Thanos escaped? Because this seemed to come out of nowhere for me.

Also wonder how this will lead her to be back with the Guardians again, will she escape or will they set her free?

They didn't go in to how Thanos escaped. I only remember Thanos talking Conner Simm into breaking him loose and then he fought all the Ultimates but they bested him LOL! His solo started right after that.

    Gamora #2 In Ubliex

    Introducing

    Chancellor

    L'wit Apparent Heir to Badoon.

After reading this issue maybe Gamora isn't the only Zen-Whoberi alive anymore?

So what happened to the Universal Church of Truth? Were they written out of Marvel forever?

    Uggh.
Marvel editorial have long since given up on continuity because a lot of readers with short attention spans, love this lazy type of storytelling.

Alright, thanks, I did know about what happened in the Ultimates, but like you said, he got captured again. Given we know the Guardians finale is ending with a throw down with Thanos, I wonder if that means it'll happen before or after the events of his current solo story.

Bendis must really dislike Gamora. Why does she always get a bad hand? She's constantly being beaten up by everyone!

I wouldn't say Bendis dislikes her he just has no interest in making her look good. Look at what he did to Kitty, i can barely stand her now and he was soooo in to taking her to space,

Anyway, Duggan is really likes the current Gamora solo so he "might" do flashbacks and his stories always uplifts ever member of a team at least we have that to look forward to

    Introducing the Vestigials

There is a lot of parallels weaving through the stories that are being told in this book. I knew that the Vestigials would be important but i didn't know they were going to be Zen-Whoberis. They seem like they have turned into the Brotherhood of Badoon waiting for their queen, Gamora to populate Ubliex lol! while also associating with a young Queen whose subject had a hand in killing almost all of their race.

I love this little twist/juxtaposition they did at the end of the comic. This comic is one of my favorite from Marvel even though this comic is continuity light (which usually aggravates me), I think the overall story and art are good enough to where it doesn't weigh down the comic. I still want to know what's Nebula's new/old backstory.

Yeah that twist at the end was good and i loved that all their stories seem to interweave but each one reacts differently to it.

It's another powerful story for Gamora within GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY #17; where spoilers:
after she's fighting Alpha Flight & the Ultimates, Carol reveals to her not only that Thanos has escaped from where he's been detailed, but also she's making it clear that she rather let her (in order to hunt for her 'father') instead of locking her up because of her break-ins attempt during CWII.........Unfortunately, not only does Gamora refused to believe CapM; but also breaking into the Triskelion, only to end up being imprisoned herself after ignoring Carol's infos and warnings
    end of spoilers.

.......and just when you think thing couldn't get any worse for Gamora....!!
