what are her signature weapons and powers?
I realize that the movie outfit is sort of a "start-off" look, but I sincerely hope that Marvel Studios moves away from "FoX-Men"-ing the looks of the Guardians. By which I mean, giving them drab looking outfits that any person can wear and it would look the same.
Visually, the Guardians are about as diverse looking as characters can get, so there's no way anyone's going to confuse Drax with Peter Quill. I just wish their outfits had a bit more personality...or will eventually look, if the movie turns out to be good and successful and there's a sequel.

Yeah, because that doesn't look distinctive at all. That doesn't look sexy while not being "porny" at all. That doesn't homage several of her costumes while still making it at least somewhat practical at all.
Love me some Gamora! May favorite Gamora moment was in I believe Infinity Watch where she whoops ass on some military invading Monster Island and they have to upgrade her strength level.
Reality is for those who are afraid of science fiction.
Not many people may know this but if you read her original appearences in the 1970's Warlock series Gamora was a girl that Thanos saved from an alternate future where the Magus Universal Church killed her people. Thanos brought her backnin time and raised her to necome the ultimate secret weapon to assassinate the Magus since she would be a time anomoly he could not detect.
Then during The Infinity Watch in the 90's Jim Starlin changed her origin saying Thanos rescued her after the Badoon killed her race. There was never any explanation for this except to say that her future had been eradicated by Adam Warlock when he destroyed the strands of hos fate to avoid becomking the Magus. It was never mentioned again either way.

I thought Zoe Saldana did a bang up job as Gamora in the Guardians film. The film itself is a lot of fun and she brings it. Gorgeous, deadly, honorable and with plenty of attitude. Can't wait to see it again.
Zoe was amazing. She looked fierce and was powerful but not a caricature. She was just so well cast
Love Gamora and think she's been pretty well-portrayed by Bendis in the current book.
Would love to see her look in the books changed a bit though:
-lose the stormtrooper suit or reserve it for deep space missions
-wouldn't mind the movie look, or similar
-hair should be long and black, not green. Is the current run the first time she's had green hair?

That figure is amazing. The likeness and life-likeness is incredible. Gotta have it!
