Hi all I’m wanting to dive into some n52 era bat books, and I was wondering which series I should check out, and which I should pass *cough* catwoman.
Could anyone advise which are the best bat series of that era please?

Grayson was a good book but.. You should read FOREVER EVIL before this for understand Dick Grayson situation.
Batman, Batman and Robin. Batman Eternal.
I don´t recommend Red Hood and The Outlaws.. The current book is good BUT.. in N52 was bad according many people.

Batwing (starring David Zavimbe), Valentine Catwoman and Gotham Academy.
I admit to only having read a little of these runs, but what I have read has been really good and they're the only Nu52 batbooks I don't actively dislike or hold indifference to.
Well, I wouldn't go that far as to saying someone needs to waste time/money on Forever Feeble. Just reading a wiki-type entry on it may be sufficient.
In addition to suggestions to things like Valentine's Catwoman run (which, be forewarned, is NOT your typical Catwoman story), Grayson, Gotham Academy, I'd also add in a few others like:
Gotham by Midnight
and
Detective Comics
when written by guys like Layman and later by Manapul.
This has all been so helpful- thank you all!
Should I bother with Batgirl, or Batman and Robin?
Another reason why this bat/cat marriage made no sense is because the build it up was not there at all and they written an new version of catwoman which was a good book. To fix superman they had to mess up everything else in the time line including batman.
Batman and Robin is good.
Batgirl's ok. Some people don't like it because it's considered too dark for a Batgirl book. I like it just fine.
I just completed gathering all 52 issues of Batman. I'm about 5 issues in and I like it, art is awesome. Snyder is a bit dialogue heavy, but it's better than what Kings doing.
About Batgirl under the New52: that part really only applies to the beginning of Simone's run.
Then there was the whiplash-inducing changes of the "Batgirl of Burnside" run by Cameron Stewart, Brenden Fletcher, and Babs Tarr that started with issue #35. Personally, I hated the Burnside direction at first, but once I started noticing things while looking in later issues, I went back and bought the earlier issues and didn't mind it quite as much. But it was definitely not a version of Barbara that previous readers would have easily identified with as the same character as in the past.
This is great. Thank you everyone.
I’ve got my amazon order up to sample a few of these suggestions . Amazon keeps recommending batman eternal, and batman and robin eternal. Thoughts?
