Technically, yes, it is. But it didn't matter to the tally so sure, we'll count it. Enigmatic Undead, ChadH, Raffi d'Arcy, Stony, Darknight Detective, Kai the Spy, Foxley, West Philly Punisher, and nx01a each received one vote along with Iron Maiden.

The Whovian, Carabas, and Scott Taylor each got two. Tami got three. Chicken Pocket got four.

But Kirby 101 edged all of them out with five, for Doctor Spektor. Well done!

Thanks to all who voted for me. Sometimes we post covers that we think will win and sometimes we post covers we just want to share. I was just happy this contest gave me a chance to post one of his wonderful works, that his cover also won this contest makes me so glad.
Will have a new contest up later.

Congratulations, Kirby101. I went to bed early and forgot to vote!

    Thanks are in order to:

Raffi Ol'Darcy for voting for me
Ajax_X for finding that Boris Karloff "Thriller" comic. I figure they must have changed the title when the series was cancelled.
And finally, thanks to Greg Hatcher for coming up with a fun theme. Such an interesting variety of covers it produced, most of which I had never seen before.

Congratulations to Kirby101 for his choice of a cover which reminds me of a song. (apologies to foxley for stealing his schtick)

And now, what has the captain learned this week. He has learned that the Marvel snobbery of his youth potentially cost him the opportunity to experience other books. Alas, poor youth. I wish I remembered it. What was I saying? Hey, those kids are outside, Get Off My Lawn!

I was pretty much the same way, except I remember having a couple of the Classics Illustrated of the horror kind, like Frankenstein

Kirby 101 that was a really good cover, congrats!

Your entry reminded me of artwork seen in the Night Gallery pilot movie. But I looked those up and they were painted by Jaroslav “Jerry” Gebr.
