I just saw the picture of Darkseid on the main CBR page, does he really look like that now? He looks like Ronan.

Latest issue of Wonder Woman was a doozy. Especially for Darkseid.

Ever since Grant Morrison's Seven Soldiers, I've wondered if DC's bible was amended to state that "all new New Gods pitches must defecate on Kirby's grave as vividly as possible."

I haven't read the newest issue of Wonder Woman yet, but I saw the picture of Darkseid earlier, and yeah, he definitely looks like Ronan. Not sure how this got past DC's R&D department either, because it's too close for it not to draw comparisons.

I'll try to withhold my criticism, though, until I read the issue for myself. I'm sure there's a reason he looks like this, after all. I just don't see why his new look couldn't be more original, I guess.

Maybe DC will stop having him get the stuffing knocked out of him. I mean since the New 52 and that time Batman beat him down solo he's been a joke

As long as the stories are being well written. I can't say I care about what he wears or not. He can be naked for all I care.
