I'm both incredible excited and terribly sad for this next issue. It's been a blast and I really don't want it to end, but I also want to see what happens to and between them. This series is making me emotionally conflicted and I need it in my life. I just want to see more of Rogue and Gambit...

Oh, and the preview was phenomenal as always.

Also, we were speculating in the Gambit and Rogue thread about the scene with Rogue lifting the boxes and whether it’s from a “future” panel or an off-panel scene in the past. They’re clearly moving in somewhere and it COULD be from when they were depowered and living together in X-Treme X-Men except that Rogue has clearly has super strength here so it doesn’t add up. Of course the Romy shipper in us are hoping that it’ll be one of the final scenes in the book where they end up moving in together.

Also also, the scene with the cats is just precious!

I saw that speculation, but refrained from commenting. Personally, I'd like to think it's a future scene, but it doesn't really make sense for it to be as there isn't really a precedene for it in the book.

Seriously folks, this mini is just superb writing and gorgeous art! Really funny and clever, but emotionally loaded and full of action. All the call backs are amazing for old time fans, but easy to follow for new readers.

I know... why couldn't they have released this six months ago when everything was getting an 'ongoing'? We could have got like the 10-12 issue standard that most of those books got.

Doesn't mean it can't be a flash forward, especially given the concept of time being circular and happening simultaneously. The lack of gloves combined with super strength is . . . Notable. Could only have occurred during very specific times in the past and they weren't as friendly at those times. I have hope, at least a glimmer!
