Made it out the the comic store for the first time this year to try out the new creative team.

    Eh.

Pretty much everything everyone else here said was accurate. I was expecting a dumpster fire based on Percy's Green Arrow, but it was decent enough. Though awkward and unsubtle in some places. (Funnily enough, it was still better written that Snyder and Benis's portions of DC Nation, but that is a different topic...) I was suprised by how much I liked the art.

Not the most impressive issue, but I am curious enough of future Morrisonian threads and upcoming globetrotting to maybe stick around.
It's the Dynamic Duo! Batman and Robin!... and Red Robin and Red Hood and Nightwing and Batwoman and Batgirl and Orphan and Spoiler and Bluebird and Lark and Gotham Girl and Talon and Batwing and Huntress and Azreal and Flamebird and Batcow?

Since when could just anybody do what we trained to do? It makes it all dumb instead of special. Like it doesn't matter anymore.

So...? what? I didnt made me quit the book, how they handled his romance with black canary did that. but i did roll my eyes when i read it.

I'm just saying that just because Percy was writing Ollie as a liberal didn't make a non-liberal quit.

Very well said. I don't mind a comic getting political and I don't mind writers taking a stand or letting their work be their voice.

I enjoyed the issue. I am not remotely liberal but I like and have great respect for Percy exactly because he gets on a Soapbox. His work shows you his heart like it or not he takes a stand and always punches it home.

If I see comics virtue-signalling, I don't buy 'em. There are three televisions in my house and they're all on different news channels so I can stay informed on all the issues from all sides; I read numerous blogs and professional journals. When I pick up a comic book, I've had enough of all the punditry and just want an entertaining story, not a sermon--not interested in some "creators" political views any more than I am in their personal sex fantasies in the pages of a lousy funnybook. Keep Nightwing apolitical.
