Default MCU Ebony Maw vs Fox Magneto

Fight takes place in a metal scrap yard, standard distance apart. Only metal is present.

    No blood/body stuff.

    EDIT:

Scenario 1: all fox feats for Magneto, including apocalypse power up

Scenario 2: no apoc power up

Fox Magneto gets his powerup from Apocalypse?

That puts him quite a bit beyond The Maw methinks.

I'm going to leave most of the fighting to other posters, but I'm hard-pressed to think of many durability feats for Magneto, old or young, whereas 616 Mags could take punches from flying bricks. He certainly has a lot of stamina for his power (so, on the flip side, we never see Maw doing that, though he never had the chance to push his limits either).

Though this was a neat scene, with QS at superspeed: https://streamable.com/smzzh

As far as strength goes, the ripping/carrying the Golden Gate bridge in his old age and stopping dozens of missiles and warheads/lifting a submarine are among his top feats. His firing an almost infinite amount of metal shards at Apocalypse seems like a feat for stamina, though obviously powerful (and thanks to the Apocalypse power-up).

Powered up Magneto might* outclass Maw in pure power, but he doesn't have the shear precision and speed of Maw.

*I say might because we never actually get to see Maw pushing his limits. Or even put a little bit more effort. Everything he did, he did it casually.

Still, nothing he did suggested "upheave aircraft carriers on the far side of the planet" levels. And going off of apparent ease, Magneto did this with a calm voice, face, whatever. No apparent struggle himself.

That's not much relevant. This is basically a quickdraw, and I'm backing Maw here.

Ok but mags seemed to control stuff faster to me.

Powered up Mags is quite a bit beyond Maw, and we definitely don't see Maw react at speeds grossly beyond Erik. Maw controls lots of stuff, but Mags does much more, even before the powerup. Maw shows excellent strength, but again, Mags casually affects untold massive stuff all over the planet without any effort at all. Maw also never really directly attacks a person with his powers. It's always objects, such as binding Thor with metal, binding Strange with cable and not lifting him directly, but rather lifting a chunk of ripped out street with him lying on it, etc. And here, everything useful is metal. Mags just has too much to use, and nothing he can't NOT use.

So, quickdraw maybe, but if it's a tie, Erik wins that due to being MUCH stronger.

Magneto has considerably more raw power going by feats. Lifting a sports stadium and the Golden Gate Bridge is evidence of that.

However, Maw wins. Magneto needs to first control metal before he can do anything, which involves moving metal as his opening move. Maw's first move will be to slit Magneto's throat/remove his head with TK using the same force that saw him casually cut a car in half.

That car was RIGHT in front of him when he did that and he never did anything like that again.

There is nothing to show he can do that from the standard distance.

the other time he used purely TK was batting off BD right in from of him.

I still think Maw wins vs unupgraded Mags but I don't think the TK slit is how he does it.

Maw can control things beyond metal. He took all that concrete and made giant bullets out of it in a second or two. Buuuut Uber Mags is past his paygrade.

I certainly can see reasons for either side winning.
