    Default Favorite Single Issue

Like everyone I have favorite stories and runs but it's hard for me to come up with a favorite single issue if a book. I'll say it has to be an issue and can't be Killing Joke or something like that. 1 single comic book. Like Captain America 227 or Detective Comics 156. Those are just random numbers, but you know what I mean.

Also, you can't make a list. In the spirit of 1 issue, you only get to pick one.

That's the point. Like Highlander, there can only be one.

Its one of the cruelest threads over here. Don't take it personally Darkseid, but man is it so difficult! To choose one, it feels like i am doing some injustice to another one. Here's what i will do. I will say which one is my favorite. But i will mention a couple of others. It was difficult to choose a favorite.

    All Star Superman #10

    The others are:

The Life and Times of Scrooge Mcduck #8

    Watchmen #9

Daaaamn, only one? Hmm, I've a lot of single issues I love, but the first to come to mind, and being so significant to my favorite character from DC and the culmination of the first half of one of my all time favorite stories, it has to be Batman #497. I remember reading it when I was 12 years old. After doing so, I read it again that same day, something that I had never done before that day

For me it's Uncanny X-Men #189, "Two Girls Out To Have Fun". Rachel Summers and Amara Aquilla going up against Selene, but also spending a little bit of quality time before that. It was my introduction to the character of Rachel and I've been a fan ever since.

    I can't...I tried, but I can't.

But it would be Marvel from the late 60s - 70s.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
