Not in his lifetime. His family filed suit and they reached a non disclosed settlement from Disney back in 2014.

Jim Starlin talking to BBC about Avengers Infinity War.
I just put it all together...
Thanos, Drax, Gamora all have giant roles in Infinity War. KGBeast is in Batman V Superman and there's also a reference to the death of Robin... it's a Jim Starlin party! Wooo hooooo! Does this mean Mongul shows up in the next DC movie?
After Stan, Jack, Ditko, this guy has gotta be the next most significant name in Marvel Comics history....
Sounds like he is getting a fair slice now, so that's good.
I'm sure it's because of when Thanos etc were created (70's) vs KGBeast (80's). Back in the early mid-70's royalties at Marvel and DC weren't really a thing. It was around the mid 70's that artists and writers started standing up for their rights and things ultimately changed.
I remember an interview some years back with Len Wein where he stated that he gets checks from Lucius Fox being in the Nolan Batman films but he doesn't get anything from the X-Men movies despite creating Wolverine and co-creating half the other characters.
Maybe for the next Superman movie, DC should adapt Starlin’s Mongul work. I hasten to point out that Mongul was Len Wein’s idea—but Starlin created the look. This would incude Moore & Gibbons’ “For the Man Who Has Everything.” And my favourite part of the original Mongul story, that doesn’t even feature him—“Where No Superman Has Gone Before.”
