Normally, the blows of the physical would pass through, but instead both concentrated on what was within.

Ochazuke shatters the knife blow like sugar candy, the Banefire enhanced blade crumbling to dust. Startled, it cannot react as Alt Ochazuke strikes the creature, knocking Banefire out of its other hand, tumbling toward the Earth.

The demon shrieks and moves to go after the falling weapon, Alt Dash shouting and letting fly a blast to distract it.

Inside the cave, Zaofan finds a gently swirling pool of what looks like midnight colored water. Once close enough, the purple artifact descends into it and starts absorbing the temporal nexus. In a mere few moments, the pool is energy and the artifact has done its work.

She was more cautious this time as she quickly flew after the falling weapon and made a grab for it. This time, however, instead of just grabbing it to hold it, she grabbed it to drain it. Her anti-magic felt more powerful than it ever had now that she was a Super Saiyan. Sorcerer's Folly, she decided this would be called.
Asha'rah's orbs flew in to assist Parsley as she made a play for the gun. Five of them surrounded Parlsey, orbiting rapidly around her as they shielded her and Banefire with a vortex of energy. Rays of golden light poured through from within the creature's dark visage, followed shortly after by the whir of blades as her orbs began spinning rapidly with sword-length blades molded onto them, tearing up its insides like a blender.

while Praxat herself is basically invisible her goggles and outer clothing isn't . as for her suit it's only partially invisible. she notices this, and takes off her goggles , outer clothing and tosses them aside while still using her electrified tongue to attack the creature.

    Default Blizzar- Ice Cold

Arcosia Prime is a cold place. Unoriginal pun aside, the term is apt to describe much of it's residents, it's many environs, the general atmosphere. Trust was a rare commodity, barely shared among it's populace, let alone foreigners. Even the most prominent Arcosian noble families, of which there were many, often practiced the expertly honed and time honored Arcosian crafts of deceit and self-gain upon each other. Born with everything handed to them on a silver platter. Wealth, land, even entire planets. And yet every Arcosian often hungered for more. For all they had, it was never enough. They had to uphold their families' status, all while securing their own galactic seat of power on the opposite side of the law, oft concealed from the forever prying eyes of the Galaxy Police. Entire galaxies to rule. A multitude of planets and their people to buy and sell at their leisure. Say what you will about, their morals, but their ambition cannot be denied.

And if such levels of wealth and power was sought after so badly by the affluent and the opulent, than one could simply imagine the hunger that lay within the eyes of Arcosia's poor. They were not widely known about, or spoken of. Whether it was of legitimate (HA!) or ill gotten gain, it was common knowledge throughout the Galaxy that behind every Arcosian was a rich mommy and/or daddy ready and waiting to roll their eyes when their child returned to them after a 'business transaction' gone awry.

Arcosian poor are the pariahs of their culture. Embarrassments, whose ancestors either never were able to gain affluent status or even worse...had foolishly squandered it. According to the tales woven by Blizzar's parents, he had descended from the latter. Blizzar's father was a thief and far less of the gentleman variety, than he'd like to be. His mother was a conwoman, able to talk her way out of any situation. Unfortunately, her linguistic skills didn't earn them much in the way of food, and his father's thievery was equally not quite up to par.

Blizzar, unsurprisingly, wished things were better. He fell in love with the tales his fathers wove about the status they once upheld. A level of squalor he could barely imagine at the age of eight, where his own tears were the only thing keeping the bread his father managed to pilfer from the restaurant dumpsters from being completely stale. But, if you think this is the tale of an underdog, who climbed his way up to the top...well, you'd be correct, but not completely.

"MY EYE! That...that whelp..." a young Arcosian whispered as his quaking hand covered the swollen lump that was once his right eyelid. He had simply gone with his friends to the markets, and upon finding a penniless Arcosian boy, simply watching esteemed artisans of unique culinary craft, presumably with the intent to steal some for himself. They weren't exactly wrong.

It was a clear public service to prevent this whelp from trying to reach above the status where his ancestors landed him. Rocks were thrown, aiming for the horns. If they were lucky they'd break one. If they followed him home and he had siblings...parents? Then there'd be even more targets! But this whelp didn't run...he ran forward, ignoring the gash, the rocks caused upon his own forehead and punched someone of STATUS in the eye!

"Your some kind of Saiyan aren't you!" another Arcosian child chimed in. "Always resorting to violence..." she continued, not yet old enough to knowingly speak with hypocrisy.

"I'm no Saiyan...." the young Blizzar breathed heavily, hoping they couldn't tell his heart was pounding. He took some solace that his frail frame was enough hurt these clowns who had presumptions of class. "I am...true...Arcosian," he breathed steadily, struggling to control his breathing. There were four of them and one of him. If they had any class at all, they'd stay and fight. As it were, they most certainly did not. They ran, the lot of them. Back to their parents or perhaps, what amounts to Arcosian law enforcement. Perhaps they could've stayed and fought, but simply deemed him unworthy. From the tears trailing in his would be opponent's eyes, Blizzar doubt that, however.

Speaking of eyes, he could feel many on him now. The chefs, the artisans of the Arcosian marketplace...a few of them had witnessed what transpired and within these eyes there wasn't much sympathy to be found. If those kids didn't inform somebody of what happened here, all the adults standing before him certainly would. Blizzar began to hyperventilate. He couldn't stay here...he couldn't return to his parents. Not if he'd lead someone to them.

He'd have to make a run for it.. His parents wouldn't worry. He'd gotten old enough to run quickly and was small enough to sneak among even the smallest of crowds, unnoticed. He'd often gone thieving for his family on his own, and found a bit of success and to his parents this day would be no different. And so he ran...but not before grabbing a basket of delicacies from a food stand with his tail before dashing off.

Out the corner of his eye, he could see the chef, raise a knife, not in threat, but with the intent to end a life far too early...but Blizzar was faster and the chef had his own duty to attend to. The young Arcosian would escape unharmed, at least for that afternoon. He had a spot to hide out in. He'd found it earlier, before venturing out to the markets. A park with a large tree. There was a crevice beneath it's roots, large enough for him to fit into and hide. And that was the plan for now.

Blizzar bunkered down, scared of any retaliation that may hound him for his actions. Was it worth it? Perhaps not. But fighting back felt satisfying. As if he controlled his own fate. But, life was just a gamble after all...what control could he truly possibly have? Blizzar began to hyperventilate. Would they find him here? He hoped not. He'd have to rely on his luck. Another thing one had no control over. As his breathing began to quicken, he attempted to calm himself and remember the words of his father.

"We'll forge ahead. Until we've regained what we've lost. Life is a gamble, remember. If fate swindles us with a bad hand, we don't lay down and accept it. We simply swindle right back."

Yes, life is a gamble. A system like any other. And if you can game that system, you rise to the top. Blizzar's breathing quieted somewhat...but he was scared, still.

Whomever struck the final blow was unknown amidst the hellstorm unleashed on the demon, but final it was. After the dust settled, all that remained was a faint odor of ozone as Banefire, once more, was quelled and killed.

It was at this time that Parsley and Totoma both fell out of their advanced states, unable to maintain them or even know how to properly summon them at will as Garnish had.

    The battlefield was silent.

Garnish sat up, Ika holding her, and smiles.

“Uncle Totoma’s going to freak when he gets back. First the transformations, then saving Etrina. Heh, you guys being from another timeline is the least crazy thing.”

Meanwhile, Erosa and Zaofan were in the cave as the artifact began to pulse. A simple message from Zurvan seems to echo to Erosa and Zaofan from it, and through them to the others from the main timeline.

‘You May return anytime. Merely hold the artifact aloft and will it when you are all ready.’

Parsley dropped to her knees the moment her immense power was gone. It was true; it could only last a finite amount of time at first.

That was fine and could be mitigated with training.

The problem was that she didn't know how to activate it again. She was in an extreme state of self-loathing and grief, a state she had no hope of replicating.

    "Tch."

She noticed Garnish rising to her feet, alive and well, but too weak to stand on her own.

That battle was over, and with no loss of life. That was good. She approached Garnish and Ika and nodded once. "Thank you."

Seeing as the battle ended, Dash felt both relief and disappointment. Taking a few steps towards where the creature last stood, she let out a deep breath, "One o' these days someone has gotta fill me in on what that thing was." She then turned to Alt-Dash, "Ah don't know what's next for either of us, but ah wish you well. Oh, an' one thing, did you, did we ever meet someone? Ah mean, you know, like a serious relationship? Or is that somethin' I shouldn't know about yet."

Yeah, but if you... man, we're getting into weird analogy territory, like if you disintegrated Superman's arms he wouldn't be able to go "fool! Little did you know that my arms and I are one and can be remade from me!" and will his arms back into being from pure nothingness. - Pendaran
