Koolard simply starts powering up, a grey aura springing about him.

So struck, Koolard's shambling countenance was stalled.

Moreover, Ochazuke had been sure to leave him an additional parting gift. The light flooded his line of sight, but the heat of the spectral flame continued to feed off of and eat Koolard's aura.*

Letting his hands fall slowly to his sides, he exhaled. Exhausted, all this had all but bought a brief moment to reassess, to think. But across the psionic reverb, the hush of his inner thoughts was constantly interrupted by sparks of pain, ground against the flashes of killer intent, the guarded bids to survive.

But there was something else he heard, clinging behind him, a weight he hadn't realized until this brief reprieve had let him remember. Beyond the totality of the combat were ten thousand whispers, rising gradually, softly. From the Earth beneath the clash of these violent powers that shook the isle of heaven, it rose unheard until he deigned to listen again.

Glacia was gone, her moment had passed. Now he could tend to an unfinished matter. Heeding this decisive chance, Ochazuke exhaled slowly and raised his arms.

He could not force the effort, only gradually beckon the energy to bestow itself. The will to keep living. He heard it rise from the world, the gathered whispers gathering into a single will and rising to a cacophonous roar.

As he's doing so, Sasheem sneaks up to him, ki hidden by the Spider's Blessing, and tossed an Annihilation Orb at him, the ball of ki spinning rapidly in place trying to bury into the hybrid's sides.

Parsley's attack was just about ready, so she prepared to choose a target. Not to attack, but to swap places with. She initially thought either the mutt or his mother would be as good as any, but she quickly dimissed that.

In all likelihood, they'd prefer to sustain their blasts, as she intended to. Everyone else was either already fighting Koolard or was preparing to jump in.

Which left only one choice. The unconscious person laying on the plaza floor. As it was, Etrina was a liability in her prone state, and that would only increase once the attacks started flying.

It was the only reasonable choice.

With that in mind, she focused on her energy, locked on, then Mirror's Edge.

Parsley vanished and was nearly instantly replaced with Etrina's unmoving form. The Saiyan arrived that instant and immediately slammed her hands together. "Spiral Flash!"

The tremendous beam erupted out of her and toward Koolard. If it hit, it would curl upward and carry him toward the chaff.

Just as Parsley teleported, Tasure saw her chance. Her attack, as well as Totoma's were fully charged, and she'd been focusing to get her instant transmission ready to use. And, it just so happened, that Parsley provided the perfect opportunity... or would.

'Steady, boy. Be ready to act.' she said mentally to Totoma. She figured that Parsley would, in all likelihood, curve the beam upward towards the chaff. Koolard, strong as he was, would probably be able to worm himself free, with a bit of time, but that's where she and her boy came in...

Tasure and Totoma's form blur, and the mother-son pair appear on the other side of Koolard, opposite Parsley.

"Fire!" she yells, thrusting her hands forward, sending the wave of purple energy cascading towards Koolard.

Totoma responds in kind, with a "HAAAAA!" heralding the release of the blue torrent that was his Kamehameha.



The two beams began spiraling around each other, merging into a beautiful, chaotic swirl of blue and purple. They too would force the beam to curve upwards if it got a clean hit... and if not, Totoma always had his Void Tunnels.

Tch. How irritating. That was as unexpected an outcome as she had encountered. She thought he would dodge, not just stand there and hold it off with one hand.

Not just that, but the beam was being pushed back into her.

"No! HAAAAAAAAA!" Her power increased again as she pushed the bean forward and into Koolard.

Tch. Annoying.

Tasure and Totoma's form blur, and the mother-son pair appear on the other side of Koolard, opposite Parsley.

And just in time. Tasure and Totoma should have been strong enough – especially combined – to draw his attention away so she could make some headway.

Koolard’s other hand comes up and blocks the combined two beams.

He’s forced back and back, until his grey aura expands and the. Contracts around him. His body expands, grows, and his hair start glowing.

He’s gone under a different transformation that his previous forms. This one seems more Saiyan based. Grey light flashes around his aura as this new form uses his own energy blasts to cancel their out.



With a shout, the Super Arcaiyan powers up into a bastardized combination of an arcosian final form and a super saiyan, the ripple of that power being felt all around as the Lookout below shakes and the clouds above part. Oddly, the chaff even ripples at this unleashing of power.

Ochazuke stepped in, and not a moment too soon.

Stoic as ever the man stepped in and with a steely gaze he uncovered the hidden assailant and ... it was Koolard. That Saiyan-Arcosian Hybrid that had barely survived utter annihilation some days before. Which was ... not good.

He had barely survived before, and as a Saiyan that meant ...

"Oh dear."

Unsurprisingly, the next few moments were an exercise in the need to secure a kill, as with his opening move -- once revealed -- Koolard proceeded to strike two savage blows against both Ochazuke, and Asha'rah, before proceeding to lay into the others who arrived not soon after.

... and for all of it, Ishtar could merely stand there and watch; her need to protect the unconscious Etrina exceeding the desire to rectify the mistake of allowing him to live. Though as the battle progressed there came a chance for Ishtar to act, in the form of ... Parsley, the woman appearing to take the place of Etrina -- whisking her away to relative safety it seemed -- as she fired a hellish beam toward Koolard.

Yet for all the force behind the attack ... Koolard hardly budged. Even worse than that, the hybrid began beating back the beam with one of his own.

"Ah ... hm."

Something needed to be done about that.

Exhaling slowly, and tapping into what remained of her energy then, the Oni targeted Parsley, and offered her a burst of energy, her residual charges of White Haoma funneling into the Saiyan Princess.

With a shudder then, the Oni offered Parsley a look before blinking away to reposition herself. Her next attack, whatever it may be, would find itself multiplied by another half of her own power. Though in the end, the Oni had to wonder if her offering mattered.

There came a ripple that parted the heavens, and even the Chaff beyond; as Koolard transformed into something that caused Ishtar to question many things.

The foremost question being: "Where did it get the pants ?"

Shaking her head then, the Oni considered what to do a moment before sighing, and in settling on a course of action; she blinked away ... Reappearing behind the hulking abomination so she could lash out and hopefully impart a fragment of her Ki, to Koolard; much as she had with Glacia.

The Doctor had a fondness for metal after all, and she was not one to turn down something shiny.

Tons of Nevadian, old and new, rare and common, weapons are on display.

"Well, if nothing else, these will make for great souviniers, eh?" Held said with a smirk, before pulling a capsule from the side of his belt. With a puff of smoke, the capsule opened, and in the hands of the Nevadian was an odd gun of sorts.

"I'm glad I borrowed this baby." he said to himself, as his Capsule Gun shot miniature capsules at the payload, easily capturing them.

Chris nods.

“Yeah, Yeah. I’ll check the next level for people. The vaults should be down one of these next levels too.”

"Eh, we'll all go together. I suppose Althena has a point. Something about helping others, and operating on trust, or something like that." He shrugged, "And if he's enslaving these people or something, I'm not really a huge fan of that sort of hobbie, so I guess we should see what's what."

He picked up the capusles, before placing them in the gun, which vanished in yet another puff of smoke "Besides, I'm sure this is the warmup. Let's pay a visit to those vaults."

I suppose I'll have to find a detterent to keep my thoughts private...Hmm...

"What in the blue hell is this ****?" Sasheem questioned, seeing this odd Saiyan yeti thing necome...even stranger and of course, more powerful. Something else caught his attention, though. That big stupid barrier across the sky. This vanilla gorilla was strong enough to stagger it.

With it short-circuit in for the theme being...Sasheem flew up theme the improve chaff and launched one of his Samehadas. One big one. The giant shark fin shaped blast skirted around the underside of the chaff as if it was water. Sasheem clinged on in Katchin mode, as the attack slid around the chaff, shooting off ki blasts of his own to boost the Samehada's speed as zoomed further and further away from the Lookout...

In a gray flash, Koolard revealed that not only was he alive, but in possession of a terrifying new form. His hair was spikier, his muscles more enlarged, and his power had swelled to new heights.

It was the perverted mirror to the Super Saiyan form she had only tasted once. Yet, when she tried to draw on it again for Avoca, she failed. It wasn't a form she could reach actively.

In short, she was screwed. Even if Super Saiyan wasn't as strong as she hoped, it was better than nothing.

"Damn it! Damn it!!"

Their backs were instantly pinned against the wall and the tide was precariously close to turning against them. I have to try!

This wasn't a desire. This wasn't her wanting to flex for her mate so she could impress her with her newfound power. The only desire she had was to live.

Her aura flared, pure white like a star in the night sky.

Come on..

Her teeth gritted together, her fists clenched.

If they failed and lost, Avoca was going to die. So were Pinach and Rutaba. They were all going to die and it would be her fault!

"RRRRAAAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHH!!!!!"



Like the breath of a new flame, her golden aura shone brightly on the Lookout. Piercing blue eyes stared at the abomination.

Something from Ishtar flashed within her and she felt her power swell even more.

Her lips curled into a disgusted sneer as she launched herself forward. Her hands cupped together and fired ten Dark Spirals that, instead of hitting Koolard, instead curled around him, then collapsing in on him. They would all explode on contact.

Parsley landed on the Lookout and quickly took stock of the situation. Above, the hideous, unholy creature - the Saiyan/Icer hybrid - was floating above them. He must have been the one that shot and almost kill the alternate Zaofan. Speaking of, the man's PL was steadily rising, so he must have been okay. Avoca and the kids, along with Nevanlinna, were near him, so that was even better.

"An unholy mutt like yourself shouldn't exist," she sneered.

Her eyes cast over him, Observational Focus revealing its secrets to her. Whatever it was hiding, she would know it.



"I'm glad you're okay," Pinach said. "I can tell you're a hero, and heroes have to help each other out!"

" Well at lest you're alright ,but I recommend lying down for a while , " Qaztoh said to Alt Zaofan.
