Totoma watched this whole... thing with the copper commander and the beam attack from the ship play out. He had the utmost faith that things would work out, but had the situation started getting out of control, he would have pulled out all the stops to save everyone... or at least try to save everyone. Still, everything seemed to work out quite well, so there was no need to play his hand quite yet.

Exhaling, the Hitozaru form began dispersing--the fur disappearing, his eyes and muscles returning to normal, and various other things--until he was back in his, er... base form, for lack of a better way of putting it. A wave of exhaustion washed over him--no big surprise, since the Oozaru form was tiring to use, and the Hitozaru, as a variation of it, was also tiring, though not quite to the same extent. It was a small price to pay for the final liberation of this planet and its peoples, though.

Knocked off his feet just from sheer proximity to the energy beam, his ears ringing from the tremendous output, and covered in layers of dust and dirt, Zaofan coughingly and achingly manages to get himself up, waving the dust away from his mouth.

Only to see the massive trench caused by the beam. Only to remember who was directly in the beam's path.

    "Ishtar!"

Exploding with a burst of fiery ki aura, Zaofan blasts off like a comet in great haste along the massive trench to what he perceives as Ishtar's last known location.

Adam drains the reactor dry, taking all of the ship's power into itself.

The cannon's blast was truly a sight to behold, carving a path through the air like a comet and annihilating all before it before continuing on into the depths of space. When it was over, there was nothing left of the Nagadaar warrior or part of the hill he was standing on.

"Ishtar, come in. I trusted you to have a plan, and would be very disappointed if you died."

Either way though, there was little she could do to help outside. Satisfied that the immediate danger was over, Asha'rah's thoughts turned to matters of the heart. She turned to check on Erosa, helping disconnect her from the tube before it sucked any more of the ki. Dumping out her excess was fine, but Asha'rah had no desire to subject Erosa to whatever the tube's former occupants had had to go through. She manifested, flesh materializing and metal fading away, and tilted Erosa's chin to face her.

"That was quite the fart you just unleashed. How are you feeling?"

As the explosion takes out the Copper Clad Nagadarr, Meagan hears someone calling her name. Turning around quickly, she sees two Nagadarr-dai’s running away from the ship. Taking to the air, she soon sees that the Demons each carry one hostage, hostages who are both struggling against them. One hostage she recognizes immediately as Cyanna, the other is a human with rainbow colored hair. Though she has never met her, she knows enough to realize that it is probably the human girl, Dash, her Mentor took a fancy towards some time ago.

Not wasting any time, she flies as fast as she could towards the two Demons, only to be tackled in mid-flight by a Demon wearing armor that looked almost golden. Falling to the ground, she turned her attention not to the golden one, but the two subordinate Demons carrying away her sister and her sister’s friend. With a sprinter’s push off of one leg, she ran to them and tackled the two demons, knocking them both to the ground and loosening their grips on the two girls. Cyanna grabbed Dash’s hand and they both vanished from sight, reappearing suddenly on top of the ruins of a building not so far away but in a position to view what was going on below.

Standing up, Meagan stared down the two Nagadarr-dai as they stood up and pulled out their weapons. Without saying a word she rushed both of them at incredible speed. As she did, the Demons fired off their weapons at her, a move that did little good as she lifted off the ground in an Aerial Somersault over the attack and towards the two, ending in a power-move, legs extended as she slams hard into the head of one of the lesser Demons, sending him flying backwards and knocking him to the ground unconscious. She then does a body roll; quickly standing back up and preparing to attack the second one when she suddenly feels the point of something sharp in her back.

A golden clad arm wrapped around her neck as the point of a weapon tried to bury it’s self in her back but was experiencing some resistance. Meagan’s teal cloth, worn as a cape to her armor, had wrapped it’s self around the Golden Dai’s hand and was keeping him from attacking her. The distraction was enough for Meagan to slam an Internal Combustion Grenade in his arm as her cape loosened the Golden Dai’s grip just enough to allow her to turn invisible and escape. The explosion seemed to rip apart his arm; however the strange armor reversed the damage, returning his arm back to normal.

Meanwhile, the lesser Dai, watching his superior take on the Chromakai, found himself under attack. A Ki energy Wave struck him from one direction, causing him to stumble backwards. As he did, his feet got tangled up in a series of Ki Wires causing him to trip and fall. Looking up overhead, he sees Dash and Cyanna floating overhead, looking down at him. The Lesser Dai scrambles to get up and run away, only to find himself pinned down by even more wires. He then sees the two girls raise their hands, in one crackles Lightening like Ki, in the others’ hands glowed two different colors, blue and pink. Working in concert with each other, the two brought their hands together and a Beam of Braided Ki surrounded by crackling Lightening Ki, slams into his chest and finishes him off for good.

Some distance away, Meagan faces off against the Golden Dai, her cape now back on her shoulders. She knows that is the Copper Clad one could deflect her Kienzan, this Golden Armor probably could do the same. That’s’ when she noticed a small spaceship half-way hidden behind a stand of trees. As she did, the Dai took that moment of distraction and fired off a Ki blast of his own at her. The blast knocked Meagan backwards. While she was still in one piece, the pain she was feeling warned her that concussion of the blast might have caused some internal injuries.

Not able to react fast enough, she watched as the Golden Dai activated a device on his wrist, he then held out his hand as a shock-wave blast came forth from it towards the Colossus, striking the ship and ripping it apart, sending the pieces raining down on those in the battle field and threatening to cause even more injuries to those caught in the blast zone. Unbeknownst to Meagan, only a section of the massive ship was damaged and the flying shrapnel was deflected by a defense shield erected by someone.

Fearing that her friends, her people, were harmed, her emotions began to go wild. Standing up, Meagan’s anger began to grow at this wanton destruction and the anger she has kept within her for so long. Lifting off of the ground, her aura flared up in an intense display of multiple colors, then with her a cream the colors shifted to red, becoming even more intense as she summoned her power. With a final yell, “Kaio-ken Times Three!” she released a powerful Ki blast at him, one strong enough to shatter his armor and rip his body to pieces. As she did, she flew straight towards the escape craft and right through it, causing it to blow up from the impact.

She then flew back to the ground and collapsed onto it, a small smile on her face as she knew that it was finally over. Glancing up, she saw Cyanna and Dash flying towards her.

When the blast hit, the force was tremendous. Sarada thought herself able to withstand the shockwave from the explosion, yet she was knocked off her feet all the same. Her ears were ringing, and her eyes were blinded from the immense flash of light from such close proximity. When it was over, she and everyone else near her were prone and covered in layers of dirt and debris.

She climbed into a sitting position and shook the debris from her face and hair. She squeezed her eyes shut to allow them time to re-acclimate to the lower light intensity. "Is it over?" she muttered. A quick cursory glance at ground zero, and a scan with her ki sense told her that the Nagadarr in copper armor was no more. The biggest threat to Chroma was dead. A shame; part of her wanted to see what kind of super-weapon he was trying to summon with his wrist console, but her larger common sense smacked that down as a terrible idea.

The fight was over. Chroma was safe, at long last.

"Hey, we won," she crowed, turning right and left in search of Ishtar. "Oh, ****. ISHTAR!!" She had forgotten that the Oni was also at the epicenter of the blast. And from the looks of it, there was nothing left of the hill she and the Copper Nagadarr were standing on. "Damn it!"

She exploded into motion, moving as fast as her body would allow to the spot where the blast hit. There was nothing there; only a deep, seemingly endless trench created by the blast fired by the ship above them. No signs of any body, nothing.

Sarada reached out with her ki sense, desperately hoping to feeling something, no matter how weak and to the brink of death it was.

'You better not have died, or I'm going to fucking kill you!!'

"....Hah....ehehe......" Erosa chuckled at the comment. The energy drain had managed to suck out a good chuck of the reserve produced by the magicite heart, so Erosa had reverted back to her teenage form as a result. Asha'rah had to lift her out of the tank and she didn't at all seem in a position to walk on her own. The id seemed physically tired for the first time in ages. "...*yawn*....this was fun...we need to fight invasions more often...."

    The Copper Nagadarr struggled.

His attention now wholly ripped away from typing on that strange device it had wasted no time; thrashing and hammering on Ishtar's shoulders and back as she grit her teeth and did her best to hold him in place. And in this effort, it was of some benefit that the armor that coated the Nagadarr warrior from head to toe, had been damaged prior to the tackle; the charred and crumpled plating giving way beneath the Oni's Ki coated-horns now buried in his chest.

Yet the struggle that happened between them after the call was made to fire that hidden cannon ... was one the golden-eyed Oni all but lost.

And either way, Erosa needed to dump her energy without further delay.

She flipped the firing switch, and sat back to watch the show.

The power of the energy was at lest twice the energy level given off by Erosa at that moment.
The moments before the cannon discharged its payload were not kind to Ishtar.

Each second ticking by bringing with it blow, after blow from the Copper Nagadarr as it attempted to knock the Oni free. And she held for a time ... bringing to bear what defenses she could- given her position- for as long as she could. Yet the stronger warrior began to win out, the steady cadence of savage blows causing the golden-eyed Oni's grip to loosen ... her legs to weaken, and before long Ishtar found herself barely hanging on; blood dripping from her mouth and nose as the Nagadarr continued to overpower her and pry himself free.

In the end however, the plan that had been hastily put together in the wake of Asha'rah's offer of fire paid off however; and before a blow could be offered that might cause the plan to give way to catastrophe ...

    It happened.

Ishtar felt it, before she could even see it.

A beam of energy stronger than anyone present on the battlefield ripping across the distance between the Nagadarri Colossus, and the Hill she stood on, intent on only one thing: the death of all that stood before it ...

    Exactly as planned.

With little time left now, the battered Oni released her failing grip on the Copper Nagadarr the moment he landed another blow. Which resulted in her horns being forcibly removed from the armor clad warrior's chest. Which brought with it a shower of blood, and howl of what the golden-eyed Oni assumed was pain, intermixed with a guttural warbling that might have been Nagadarri curses.

With less than a few seconds to make her next move however, Ishtar had no time to muse over such a thing. And so with a pained grunt the golden-eyed Oni simply looked up at the Cooper Nagadarr so that she might offer the warrior a blood-stained smile, and a parting word.

"No sense lamenting. You are already dead."

Still staring at the Nagadarr with that bloody smile, the air around Ishtar crackled slightly then, and the golden-eyed Oni was gone.

After a few moments, nothing is left but a massive trench carved through the abandoned city and out again, and no sign of the Nagadarr warrior and this behind him.
When the dust settled, a large swath of the city was gone ... as well as the hill where the Copper Nagadarr made its final stand. Absent too, was Ishtar, a seeming casualty of war in the gambit to hold the Nagadarri Force's strongest warrior in place.

There was no response for a moment, when Asha'rah attempted to contact Ishtar.

Simply silence on her end of the communication device that had been given by Jinzi all those months ago. Yet that did not last long, and with a crackle of static the Oni responded.

"I would say it worked rather well ... though perhaps next time the cannon will fire faster."

The ship, and day, is theirs as the few serving local Nagadarr forces start surrendering.
It wouldn't take long for Zaofan, and Sarada, to find Ishtar; in the end her trip had not been a long one and she now sat staring out at the surrendering Nagadarr.

After offering the last rites to the Copper Nagadarr, the golden-eyed Oni had simply turned once more to her ability to traverse distances nigh-instantaneously by 'riding' a currently of Ki-generated electricity. In the state she was in however, she had simply decided upon the direction- up and away- and had effectively catapulted herself up above the massively powerful beam of energy given life by Erosa.

So as the the shot had faded, leaving behind dust and debris in its wake; Ishtar had simply fallen down- and struck the ground- where she'd teleported to .. a few dozen feet away from the trench that now marred the surface of Chroma.

Sarada could feel however, that Ishtar was relatively fine. The exertion and injuries of the day- suffered by the Saiyan herself, in addition to what Ishtar had suffered- the only noticeable negative offering across their empathic connection.

When the two approached finally, Ishtar offered a short wave, dipping her head in an apologetic gesture.

"I apologize for the scare. An opportunity presented itself, and there was not much time to do more than ... well, act on it."
Yeah, but if you... man, we're getting into weird analogy territory, like if you disintegrated Superman's arms he wouldn't be able to go "fool! Little did you know that my arms and I are one and can be remade from me!" and will his arms back into being from pure nothingness. - Pendaran

Sarada felt her before she heard her beautiful voice. She was fine. Outside of a few aches and pains from the battle, she was none the worse for wear. The young Saiyan felt an overwhelming feeling of relief wash over her. If something had happened to her...

...She would have felt it. Not only would have have witnessed the woman she loved dying, she would have felt it. Every atom in her glorious makeup being ripped apart, torn asunder by the tremendous weapon that left an endless trench on the surface of Chroma.

That was not a thought she wanted to dwell on, not now. Not when they had liberated a planet from enslavement and torment. Not when they help their ally, their friend free her people. This was a moment for celebration, not consideration of macabre what-ifs.

When Ishtar offered her apology, Sarada scoffed. "You're damn right you're sorry. You had m--... Zaofan worried sick! Look at him; he's on the brink of tears because he's so worried."

She crossed her arms and looked down at her lover for a moment. "Not me, though. My eyes are as dry as Eva's crotch."

With a tired sigh, she relinquished the Hitozaru form, losing the fur and muscle mass and returning to her normal appearance. Slowly, she turned and lowered herself down until her head was resting in Ishtar's lap. "We won. This calls for a celebration, I say."

    He was.

Completely oblivious to Sarada's deflection, all Zaofan could manage was a mumble through curled, warped lips before the waterworks started. Though not completely intelligible, it must have sounded something like, "Oh thank Kami! Ishtar, you're alive! Oh I was so worried but it's so good to see you and you were here and the next you werent but then the thing fired and I thought you were toast and hooohooohaaaowaaaahaahaaahImjustsogladthatyou'reok-ay-ay-ay..." *mumblemumblemumble*

Wiping away his tears, he pumped his fist in the air upon Sarada's declaration. "WE DID IT!"

The tears stopping, Zaofan then bends his knees and arms, fists clenched, his whole posture ready to take on a new challenge: "I know! I should cook for all of us! And our new friends! Wait till I tell Meagan! Oooh, I wonder if Totoma would like to help? How much do Chromakai eat? Oh dear, how many of them are there?"

    Etc. etc.

"Ah, Ishtar is safe at least..." P-Sta sighed, relieved that the team wouldn't be so reckless as to launch a massive beam attack while an ally was in the path of the blast. Still he couldn't help but feel a little bit sorry that the liberation of planet Chroma required annihilating a chunk of the planet. "Well, the GP can send aid to assist in the rebuilding effort I suppose..." he muttered aloud, trying to look on the bright sides of this aftermath, of which there was no shortage of. But...."Still, our could've used a little more finesse..."

Oh I was so worried but it's so good to see you and you were here and the next you werent but then the thing fired and I thought you were toast and hooohooohaaaowaaaahaahaaahImjustsogladthatyou'reok-ay-ay-ay..." *mumblemumblemumble*
While she didn't make a show out of it, Sarada did sigh a silent sigh relief when Zaofan confirmed her deflection. Thank Kami he was an emotional person who wore his heart on his sleeve. She almost felt bad for calling him out the way she did. Almost.

    Etc. etc.
Hearing him mentioning cooking as part of the celebration, Sarada remembered something. "Damn it. I forgot I had, like, six Sneks I wanted you to grill for me. I think I left the capsule in my pod."

She sighed heavily. The Sneks she had on Ruco after easily dispatching their poorly thought-out invasion tasted heavenly. The meat was so tender, it practically fell of the bone. When their venom was drizzled over the meat prior and during cooking, it added a spicy, tangy flavor that was just divine.

    Mmm.

Her mouth was watering just thinking about it.

Alas, in her haste to reach Ishtar, she forgot the stupid capsule in her pod. "I'm talking meat so tender, it falls off the bone. If you drizzle their venom over the meat before cooking it, it adds a spicy taste. I'm pretty sure everyone would have loved it."

Oh, well. When they returned to Earth.

...She would have felt it.

Ishtar's head continued to bob apologetically as Sarada offered her response. First pointing out how much she had been worried- in her own way, of course- before noting almost precognitive; that the young cook Zaofan was on the verge of tears.

"Oh ... I am ... I am sorry, Zaofan." Ishtar offered, somewhat startled at the young man's reaction. "I did not mean to cause a scare ... Asha'rah simply offered an option to dispose of the Copper Nagadarr, and it needed to be acted upon quickly." A glance at Sarada however, then confirmed that her own eyes were fairly dry; and while Ishtar did not know if it matched the state of Eva's genitals ... the comparison elicited a chuckle from the Oni.

"I can see that, Sarada is largely unmoved as well ..." Ishtar teased then, before stating something that perhaps was not obvious in the moment. "I promise though ... I do not intend to die without exhausting all options at life, first. Twice is far more than enough."

When Sarada slipped out of her empowered form, and found herself all but collapsing into Ishtar's lap then, the Oni simply placed a hand on her lover's shoulder and offered a soft sigh before beginning to run her fingers through the Saiyan's hair.

"We did, and did so without any ... fatal injuries. So I would agree ... a celebration is deserved in this. Though ... what sort of ?"

As Zaofan made himself once more presentable and began making mention of a feast, and all that might be required in order to make such a possibility; Ishtar chuckled softly before shaking her head. "I have tried your food once before, Zaofan ... if you wish to prepare a feast, I believe I would enjoy that; and might even be compelled to assist ... Assuming I am not busy with Sarada."
Yeah, but if you... man, we're getting into weird analogy territory, like if you disintegrated Superman's arms he wouldn't be able to go "fool! Little did you know that my arms and I are one and can be remade from me!" and will his arms back into being from pure nothingness. - Pendaran

Walking slowly towards the others, Dash and Cyanna were on either side as they helped Meagan back to where the others were gathered. They had offered to carry her, but she insisted on walking even though every muscle in her body ached from the Kaio-ken.

Jack nodded to Meagan, indicating he had seen her display.

“Not too shabby, missy. Ya did good.”

Chuan meanwhile runs up to check on her while Slak is helping Charco nearby.

“Are you okay Meagan? Where does it hurt?” Chuan asks as he starts looking for wounds.
