From without, Held was the very definition of arrogant, careless greed and gluttony, without any thought or concern, aside from the pleasures in which he partook.
From within, Held was very, very concerned.
He had pretended not to hear the conversation between his compatriots--He heard them very well, but he was not entirely sure he had heard correctly, the words being used lacking some context that he had perhaps missed. The longer the conversation went on, the more concerned Blizzards Visage became, the more Held was convinced that the problem was not because of the Nevadian interpretation.
A cold sweat began to form on the back of his neck, as he wondered just what was going on. The synchronization of the trio had once seemed without fault, now seemed to be fraying at the edges.
Still, he pushed on, engrossing himself in his act.
He almost broke character upon seeing Athena bounce off, only to return with the shattered head of a neon sign.
Held craned his head towards his female compatriot, eyes wide in disbelief.
"Wa--"
Blizzard interfered, throwing off the Nevadian with his sudden explanation of Athenas actions. His mind reeled for a second, making sense of it, before adapting seemlessly.
"W--Woah, You can never tell who's a crazy and whose not, eh Blizzar?" Held said with an awkward laugh, holding his goblet to his mouth to mask what must have been a deeply dismayed expression. He turned to his partner with eyes that shone dimly with confusion and bewilderment.
"I told you we should have went with a normal photographer! I like art as much as the next guy, but we should have wondered why the prices were so reasonable!"
This is insane....Is...What is that girl's deal?
"And don't be such a poor sport, buddy." Held said, dropping his goblet, his faux smile returning, "There's no harm in a little good will! I'll pay for the sign."
He paused for a moment, before turning to Incenio.
"...Well, assuming you don't have insurance for this type of thing, and that the sign is a reasonable price of course. I came to gamble my money, not give it away." He added with a dry laugh.
She's...This girl is the most dangerous variable in this room right now...
