“I recorded an earlier fight. Samson Balon was there. I think you and Zaofan should watch it during this brief down time betweeen rounds. They were amazing.”

Sammy grins, takes his hand and is pulled up. He raises Charco’s hand to the roar of approval from the crowd.

“You’re amazing kid. Here, I’ll autograph anything you want so long as you do the same for me on my guitar here.”

He shows that there are only three namesake in it.

“It’s all the people who have beaten me in combat and helped make me a better fighter. I’s be Honored to add yours.”

"Deal!" He replied, unable to not feel honored by the request. It became apparent that there was a reason why Sammy was so beloved.

“Indeed. I have 1,000,000 on the musician myself.”

"Ah, the human has won! Luck continues to be on my side, it seems...barring a few unfortunate mishaps, of course," Blizzar chuckled. "Who's up next?"

"Deal!" He replied, unable to not feel honored by the request. It became apparent that there was a reason why Sammy was so beloved.

The two swap autographs and walk off together, to the roar of the crowd.

"Ah, the human has won! Luck continues to be on my side, it seems...barring a few unfortunate mishaps, of course," Blizzar chuckled. "Who's up next?"

“Planter vs Solarius. I’ll be betting only 500,000 on Solarius myself. My confidence in my picks hasn’t proven to be stellar.”

His tone seems to indicate a level of anger however.

"Friend is a strong word. She's more of a person who happens to inhabit the same general space as me," Sarada replied dryly, but honestly.

Goddamn it, Althena.

There was no feasible reason why that stupid toad couldn't just sit there and watch the fights. Why did she have to... to do anything?

"Win some, lose some, eh?" Held asked Blizzar rhetorically, "It looks like we bet on the same guy this time...I like to think that since I've managed to get the last few ones right, I'll manage to keep it going."

"Of course, there are just the warm up rounds....It'll be alot tougher to bet when I actually have to compare fighters I've seen, and who've seen each other...."

He seems to be a bit tense....I guess someone is a sore loser? Or is that just competitive spirit?

He shrugged, tapping the data pad.

"Blizzar, what's your bet? I'll match it, I suppose. Worst case we'll have a mulligan....Not really my thing, but, I suppose it's okay to muck about in the opening rounds, if only once."

Blizzar shrugged incredulously. "Oh, don't be so hard on yourself, my friend," he said, with sympathy. "Luck is not always on our side, but look at all you've built! Your fortune will assuredly pick up eventually tonight..." Blizzar then turned to the upcoming match. "Hmm...I suppose I should bet on Planter then, though I don't have full confidence, myself in his ability to win..."

"I shall bet one credit on Planter. Yes, I think that shall suffice," he nodded to Incenio, his jovial tone disguising his attempt at mockery...Somewhat.

"...One credit?!" Held laughed nervously, detecting the venom in Blizzars words, "....You must really not be confident in this one either, huh?"

Held groaned slightly.

Jeez, Blizzar.....Are you serious? I thought things would heat up, but I thought we'd get out the prelims before we got to this level of game....Still.....

"Well....I did say I'd match your bet."

Passively, she reached out her senses, seeking out the unique energy signature that marks all Guardians. She sought out Althena's location, and as she did she also sensed at least one other with a similar power signature.

She faintly sense Althena being lead much further under the casino.

She absolutely feels Titanus’s Kami aura, however. He’s watching the bouts from near the locker room.

Incenio’s eye twitched, just slightly, but it happens before he schools his face again.

“Interesting. As you will. Hmm, I have to say I’m impressed, my new friend. Your form is quite remarkable. I never met another Arcoasian who had obtained the fifth form. I myself have never progressed past this third form.”
