Dragonball M, Chapter 2: Lighthouse! Across the Shores of Shattered Time!

Meagan studied him for a moment, "If you were called on to make a choice between yourself and the welfare of others; if you were called on to act on their behalf even if it placed yourself at risk, even if they were not Promethean, would you?"

Calamon and Whilser fight, the two going back and forth. Calamon is far more physical, the blows sending Whisper flying to and fro, but Whisper and his oddly silent nature proved an agile opponent. Often his blade would lick out and slice Calamon, and where his blade touched the wounds did not heal.

Eventually, the fight ends with Calamon having lost too much blood from accumulated wounds, making him sloppy. Whisper eventually manages to deflect a clumsy thrown punch and pivot throw the weakened Calamon out of the arena.

Whisper bows and sheathes his blade, the wounds on Calamon suddenly closing as the crowd roars their approval.

"Ah, I've actually lost is some credits on that," Blizzar chuckled. "A shame Incenio isn't here to see it....I do wonder what's taking him so long, however?"

Blizzar tried to see if he could sense Incenio's ki somewhere around their vicinity. His hope was that whatever concoction had been placed in the wine was the factor that caused their host to make his sudden departure. If not...perhaps something more sinister was afoot. Perhaps.

OT: Blizzar also did a search of the room for bugs. Any luck?

Qaztoh who is watching the TV crosses her arms . " but we can't it's forbidden for us mortals to tampering with time Praxat . We can't just rush things so we basically just have to wait and collect the stones one at a time." Qaztoh said

Praxat acknowledging this and walks next to Zurvan . " Yeah your right I guess all we can do now is watch , cheer and basically be the peanut galley .Hey Zurvan got a moment I need to talk to you about something in private!" Praxat said

" Come on finish them, bite their freaking head off! " Qaztoh said as she gets more into watching the fight.

Not a moment after the call went out, the space at the edge of the arena shimmered and tore, billowing smoky black energy.

"I have answered the summons" The cloud of energy reverberated with her voice and then dissipated, leaving only the voidling herself. Cthylla glances around, shadows flaring around her aura as her presence intensifies to something that could be felt by those closest to the arena but not fully understood. With a graceful yet.....oddly telegraphed motion, the voidling placed her hand over her eye...raised her mouth into a smirk.....and.....

"Approach, Challenger....I will honor your bravery with my attention. Show me what makes you special."

Back on earth, Etrina happens to catch the act on TV as she searches for Asha'rah and immediately facefaults.

".....Oh kami.....please tell me she isn't infected with first-year magitus..."

When the void creature Cthylla was called for her match, Parsley sat forward and paid attention. The previous fight was okay, but nothing beyond the standard. This fight, however, promised to be a learning experience.

The void was unfamiliar to her; anything she could glean about it or this creature would be useful.

Time to see if these potential friends of theirs could offer some assistance.
