Was this Ochazuke naturally this observant--one might say paranoid--or was there perhaps some event in his past that had driven him to develop these observational skills?
Martial skill combined with observational skill... it was a potent combination indeed. It made things... interesting. Two. Two persons of interest in this group... one, an unknown--save for the name, Oni--species, with, perhaps, unknown mystical lore to plumb. And this one... hm hm hm... what secrets could this one teach her, she wondered?
"I have no interest in establishing dominion over your... quaint little planet," said Nevanlinna, following behind. "Nor do I demand respect from those outside my people, though I would request that you at least show me the courtesy of remembering my name properly, unlike... some of your number." She was of course referring to that cook, Zaofan, who consistently got her name wrong.
"And I must reiterate: I am at a loss as to how I drew that robot's master's attention. I have, for the most part, simply observed the goings-on on the worlds I have visited," said Nevanlinna. "One would hope that the robot's master would understand that killing me would bring my people's wrath down upon... likely his entire species, but I suppose he is but a savant--intelligent enough to construct such a marvelously powerful machine, yet incompetent enough to assign it a directive that would result in his eventual destruction."
She shrugged. "I will simply have to take your advice and watch where I tread from now on."
