Most of them really, if they've entertained me, shown signs of being genuinely nice people or done particularly great work - and not come across as complete arseholes.

So you know, not Trump or anyone royal.

It's also worse if they're young. It was tragic when Anton Yelchin (Chekov in the Star Trek films) died.

Bruce Springsteen would be a big one. His music has been very important to me for over a decade now. Like Dancj said there are a lot that would make me sad. I love media. Most of my life is spent consuming media of some form of another whether I’m listening to music on a road trip or on the way to work or putting on a movie marathon on my days off or reading before I go to bed. People who create media are always present in my life and they better it so I’d always be at least a little sad when they die. But Bruce Springsteen would sting.

Kevin Smith too for very different reasons.

A lot depends on when and how they died. The shockier the death, the more sad I'll be. I never thought Dolores O'Riordan's death would affect me as much as it did.

If it were to happen while she's so young, losing someone like P!nk would be tough. Same for Gaga, Aguilera, Stefani, and maybe Alicia Keys.

I still get sad on Falco's birthday and anniversary of his death. And Bowie's and Prince's... and Robin Williams'.
