2 new lovely Gen X covers! I know Strain announced the Husk appearance early on when she was promoting the book but Im hoping that later the book does shift focus more on the original team. If it lasts long that is.

Issue #6 preview is up. I won't spoil it, but I wonder who "her" is. Thought this was hilarious, and the art's pretty great, too.

My bet would be Oya. Whoever it is, it could make a nice little subplot.

Isn't that an interview has mentioned that there will be an arc touching Quentin and his family? I think the "her" maybe refer to his mother in order to make a setting for the future arc.

Strain said via her twitter that Doop's speech is a homage to Chamber's in X-men Legacy.

Finally excited for this book again. Really, really hoping the younger class take a backseat and we can get at least one arc with the more exciting cast

By that time, sales would be really low. It's going to be like hello and goodbye to the OG Gen-X . Even more with the same, divisive, artist.

The current story arc major involves Emplate and Monet but no appearance of Hollow? Disappointing.

I totally agree. I like the kids but they should be the subplot, not the stars of the show.

I'm of two minds about it. I love my OGs but I like the story Strain is telling. Idk maybe if the MPlate thing was resolved sooner they could've given the adults a more substantial role. Still, I think the kids should not take a backseat but rather gave equal billing.

I find the Kids don't really stand out, Gen-X by this point took on Gene nation, Emplate, and set up mysteries with M and Penance. And their 2 teachers had very different styles and personalities. Mondo was already set up by Generation X#3.

New Warrior Jubilee and Patsy Walker Jubilee had far more personality to her. Jubilee by now has what? Potency, Celerity, Protian (enough to mist form/Phase) Animalism, blood based Auspecx and Dominate, She has enough powers to solo the baseline 05, and she is babysitting characters with the personality of oatmeal.

Just read issue 6 and I really liked it. Oya did a great guest appearance in it.

I just don't get why they put eye boy on the cover but not in the auction.

It needs still some adjustments but it's getting better every issue.

And the art was much better too
