Okay, I forgot to post the Gen X rankings of CBR's 2010 Top 50 X-Men (anyone else remember that? Good times for people who like to make lists, like me!), but I just found EW's X-Man Ratings, so why not do both at the same time?

Here's where every person in this thread's poll (whether they were core Gen X members or not) stands:

You could argue that those who scored in both polls are more popular than those who scored in just one poll -- that's fine, but I needed this to look organized, lol:

    Gaia, Vincente:
Not ranked -- not a surprise.

    Skin:
    Not ranked! Poor Angelo.

    Maggot:
    EW PopWatch Rating: 100

    Penance:
    EW PopWatch Rating: 72

    Monet St. Croix:
    EW PopWatch Rating: 72 | CBR 2010 Ranking: 24

    Mondo:
    EW PopWatch Rating: 59

    Synch:
    EW PopWatch Rating: 53

    Sean Cassidy/Banshee:
    EW PopWatch Rating: 49 | CBR 2010 Ranking: 28

    Chamber:
    EW PopWatch Rating: 35

    Jubilee:
    EW PopWatch Rating: 25 | CBR 2010 Ranking: 22

    Artie and Leech:
    EW PopWatch Rating: 23

    Emma Frost/White Queen:
    EW PopWatch Rating: 16 | CBR 2010 Ranking: 10

    Husk:
    EW PopWatch Rating: 15 | CBR 2010 Ranking: 35

    Blink:
    EW PopWatch Rating: 10

He wasn't on the 2010 CBR list -- yet also high on the list I was working off of on this thread's poll, that's why I accidently skipped him. I looked for him on CBR, then didn't look back up to re-check him on EW. That, and I was in a hurry, posting before going right out the door, lol. Thanks for the correction, will add him back into the post!

Interestingly enough, Synch was 53 while Chamber was 35! And M & Penance shared a ranking.

I think you're right! That was another "yay" moment for Chamber fans.

    Let's see:

    The 50 Greatest X-Men of All-Time

    Husk: 48
    Chamber: 32
    Sean Cassidy/Banshee: 26
    Jubilee: 18
    Emma Frost/White Queen: 16

It'll be really sad if all we get to do for Gen X's 20th anniversary is list them in a bunch of lists, though. ;P

Im now convinced that they have absolutely no plans for Gen X's 20th. I think theyre just stalling until the year is over & fans stop asking about it. Sigh...

Agreed! This reeks of classic stall tactics. ;P They get asked about it in March and say "see about it a couple of months from now" and then May comes along and they get asked again, only to mutter something about 2015.

Well I, for one, am going to ask in 2015! Everyone else make sure to, as well.

    5/24/14 EDIT:

Added Who were Generation X? to the Resources portion of the main post.

Hey Gang, I think it's about time someone pester, err, I mean ask Marvel about their plans for Generation X's 20th Anniversary again. They've had enough time to shape it up into something more than just a vague "we're looking at something for 2015" answer.

If someone sees a good opportunity (or just wants to ask Axel-In-Charge every week until they post the question), let me know? ^.^

And now its obvious why they are so hesitant to make a Gen -X relaunch. They are so worried it be a huge hit that they dont want to give Fox any ideas.

I really loved this series, a shame most of the characters get crapped on so badly.

I think it is a shame that Synch suffered the typical minority male fate. He was killed off only to be replaced by a pale blonde imitation.

Way cool! Glad I was able to help out! ^_^

Lol, that's right, they don't want to give Fox an amazing new series about teen -- or former teen -- superheroes!

Yeah. Sniffle. D: At least they gave us Prodigy... but not as cool as Synch.

An alternate take on Gen X... in this version, M and Penance have clearly been combined, lol. And there's no Jubilee. How sad. Let's fix that:

Oh look, Jubilee has the same Generation X poster in her room as I do! =^.^=

(Many thanks to this Generation X Tumblr.)

I'm not sure, but I think it might be from Brian Wood's "X-Men" series. That's guessing from the look of the art. I'm also assuming the Gen X picture was modded into it by a fan, lol.

As for the blond who replaced Synch... I wasn't sure when I read that comment, either, but didn't want to say anything, hah. Could be Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds (Yes, I know no one cool calls the Runaways by their code names. Oh well. ;P), since they both have rainbow auras, but that's about all they have in common. And I certainly wouldn't call the Runaways a pale imitation of anything or anyone.

Anyway, found this on Tumblr and made it into a gif:

    Generation X:

Also found on Tumbr, this bit of fandom by Fairbourne deserves to be discussed! Or at least posted, hah:
