And Mondo. Anybody remember him? The original version of that guy was pretty fun, before we found out it was a clone and the real Mondo was some weird villain with ties to Black Tom and possible Krakoa... then he disappeared and never showed up again.

Both the stupid time jump and killing the heart of the team in Ev, were cheap hacks to get sales up. I'm not surprised his upset.

It wouldn't have matters Woods simply beat Austen to the punch, In that horrible Holy War story line it is obvious Austen wanted to kill Jubilee, Synch, Skin, and Magma. Synch was already dead so he Killed Jessie Bedlam. The have Polaris shriek in Genosha "They Killed Synch and They Skilled skin on the School lawn. Yeah The Editors curbed Austens kill spree, only let him kill 2 characters.

Jawbreaker, this is one of the reasons Nightcrawler is one of the best books out now (and why Claremont is still king) - using all the members of the X-Men thoughtfully and moreso than just cameos and wallflowers. Miss me some Jono and Paige.

Mondo is still one of my favorite characters. Just a very chill laid back Hawaiian. Who had an awesome power set. Them making him a villain really pissed me off! I want him back as nice guy Mondo!
I think AOA Vincente was a really cool character as you can probably tell but they again just made him a crappy two issue villain in 616. I think he could have made a pretty good hero or villain if they just would have fleshed him out more. So many missed opportunities and let downs in Gen X.

I'm glad they are do away with the "Ah'm really bouncing aound naked" with Husk, when it was shown countless times that it's nt the case.
