Gonna go with seismic-2's historic entry.
Abe
So many great covers but with Abe's I just was taken by that vintage cover. Egyptology was a big in that era, with the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb in the Valley of the Kings in 1922. Hollywood followed suit with the Mummy movies at Universal.
I know what you mean. That was a great subtle touch by Kirby.
Kai "the spy" 'cuz we Chaykin fanboys will back humble Howard.

Its funny, that cover is absolutely nothing whatsoever like the story inside. Romita sure knew how to sell comics!
Every day is a gift, not a given right.
A long hesitation between the awesome Romita's Black Widow posted by Kirby101 and the gorgeous atmospheric Kirby cover posted by Iron Maiden... till I notice finally Doom's shadow for the first time - thanks to Kirby101...
Iron Maiden once more this week...
- To Tammy and the Blue Rose !
Something like that...
ASM #86 is one the first back issues I indulged myself with in good shape a few years ago when I came back to comics. I had at the time everlasting memories from my childhood of the content but I never saw the cover before. And then, one day, in one of my LCS...
It coasted me around as much euros as the number on the issue but I was so happy. Especially because of the blue parts which enlight the shadow in the printed version...
You didn't get my vote- but you now where my heart is...
