Who is the strongest Marvel hero?

Thanos is a hero. He just has the strength to do what others won't

Thanos is not a hero by any definition

All his actions have a self centric motive in some way

Even in the 90s when he had an anti hero stint he was still plotting against life in general

no one so genocidal or power hungry or nialistic is truly heroic

The odd showings otherwise always have self interest behind them

Ultimate Hulk was actually a lot weaker than the 616 counter part. If I remember correctly he lost a figth with the Thing in that universe. I know for sure he got put down by Thor like it was nothing.

And that Thor wasn’t even a real god.

Ben has taken some serious beatings over the years. I still remember what the Champion did to him.

I always thought that the Thing should have some kind of secret power. Like the mythological Antaeus perhaps, since he's supposed to represent the Earth. Or King Kong's lightning absorption powers. Or maybe Reed should have spliced Ben's DNA with Maelstrom's. That way he could absorb all of the kinetic pounding that he takes to bolster his own strength. "The harder you hit me, the stronger I get! So bring it on, sport ... cuz it's clobberin' time!!!"

The comic is what I was alluding to in his antihero phases

Even then he's not heroic more self preservation, not that I blame him

But it is one of his better showings

In many ways I liked this turn and really didn't like it when it shifted back

As I recall it started unclear but was later confirmed to be true

He was much weaker thor I found, not nearly as tong as 616 I don't think

Though I wasn't all that into that universe at the time so I might be off on both points
